Fricano’s is a West Michigan institution that’s been around for decades, and they make a unique pizza. The pizzas are usually charred at the edges, fairly greasy, and have an herb mixture in addition to the other toppings. Although not my favorite local pizza, it’s certainly good every once in a while and is of good quality. The place itself is fairly basic and is old school. There’s no website I know of, all orders are either in-person or over the phone, and the place is cash only. That can be hard nowadays, but it’s worth it for the experience every so often.

Not too shabby. They say they’re Michigan’s original. It’s pizza. Super thin crust, 12″ pie. I’d recommend a double on toppings. It’s 16 bucks for a pizza. They’re so thin I’d say 1-2 people per pizza, easily. I’m not a huge fan of their sausage but the pepperoni is pretty good. They don’t have parmesan, I wouldn’t ask for it . Touchy subject I guess. The staff was helpful. It was clean. They have a bar and several tvs. All they sell is pizza. With a choice of 6 toppings. It’s worth a stop. Thank you.

located on River just off 8th Street in downtown Holland ,Fricano’s furnishes some serious nostalgia. Walking in, I felt like I was in a pleasant time warp! They serve RC cola! The interior is quite plain, but the atmosphere and staff are warm and friendly. Our waitress was super sweet and cute. The menu includes only a few options, making ordering easy! The pizza is absolutely delicious, and unlike any pizza I’ve ever had before. Ultra thin crust, crispy, well done, and YUMMY! I am looking forward to visiting again and sitting at the bar.

There weren’t many options on toppings. Maybe 5. I get it. Keep it simple. Im ok with that…it’s their traditional signature pizza, but it lacked flavor for me. If there’s no tomato in pizza then for me it’s not pizza. Just cheese flavored grease and salt. The help was nice and service was quick but could’ve offered water. I’d go back if I can get extra pizza sauce mostly because my friend likes it. They do have a loyal following and that’s to be respected. Many seniors were coming in regularly throughout our visit. Lots of families too.

Was really disappointed. Thought since pizza was all they offer it would be at least decent, greasy as they come, no sauce, crust was a cracker or maybe tortilla if we’re generous. No shakey parm even! Cheap and quick- only redeeming qualities. Just wait for a table elsewhere…

Wow, what kind of poor soul could ever in their life question this place? This is not Little Caesars, not artisanal hipster pizza. This is the exact kind of pizza you only find by word of mouth. I cannot compare it to any other style other than Fricanos. Cash only, awesome. 5 toppings, no problem. One size, perfect. We crushed half of ours, everything but anchovies. Even had the remaining slices cold the next morning. If you are questioning if it’s worth it, stop, it totally is.
