The service was very nice and sweet as soon as we entered and got sat down. During our wait, we got our menus and ordered our drinks as soon as possible which was fast and easy to go with. Sure we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes for our food but I guess the wait was really worth it. The food was delivered to our table and we didn’t get our second order of onion rings but realized that we didn’t order them so I guess that was on our part for that. Anyways in the picture, I got the Big Easy Chicken Sandwich which burned my mouth on accident because I forgot to let it cool sense it was hot when served. The sandwich was really good and flavorful making me smile while talking, the onion rings were just spot on in the crunch and in flavor too which also made me want more and more and more. Oh, don’t get me started on the atmosphere. The atmosphere was very chatty in a good way, the bar was pretty cool and had many games in one room of the restaurant which also kept the activity up in the restaurant. I think I saw the owner but maybe it’s a worker who knows but if it was the owner in the grey long hair, little old, and very serious which made us thought she had a mood but was only her doing her job which got the best for me. Other than that, I would recommend this place as a 5 star rating with the sandwich, the place, and the great waiter we had that made this restaurant very honorable as a 5 star rating. Nice job Fric and Frac!

I find out they got 2 burgers for 1 on Mondays. I start going. It was ok until I got what I would say raw smash burgers. I thought it would be corrected with a call. Cook answers and said what the hell you want me to do. 2 weeks later I tried again. Soon as I walk in cook approaches me snatches the menu out of my hand. Like a girl says I’m not serving YOU. Huh. I went in my phone showed the cook a picture of that raw burger he served me. He walks off the OWNER walk up on me and ask me what’s the problem. I tell him what his cook just did. And he says what you want me to do? I thought last time. Now I see the OWNER at a store he says I took care of you DIDN’T I. How I paid for every meal even the raw 1. I spent 70$ in one day on these burgers called my whole family up to patronize this business. I give a thumbs down on hospitality.

I Love this restaurant. The Sat tacos are Wonderful…simple homestyle hard tacos in sets of three. It’s been a favorite for my friends and me for many years (the restaurant has been there for 50 years). They also have Steak Night on Friday; and, the menu and bar are also great.

My family and I went to the KC Wheel, and afterward decided to get dinner. Google Maps showed this place 6 minutes away.

We arrived and were quickly seated. The server greeted us and was helpful with suggestions.

As we waited for our meal, I went to wash my hands before eating. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the bathroom was because the place was packed. The restroom was tiny and could use some removal of graffiti, but most importantly, it was clean.

While we waited for food, my sons played the arcade games. They even had a change machine…

Our food arrived and everything was fresh.

We had 1 hour before our movie at Union Station, and we’re able to order and eat in 45 minutes.

I’d definitely recommend this place. My tacos were excellent!

For a family of 4, we spent $50 before my $15 tip.

I was pleased that they had a kids’ menu and I could order Mac n cheese for my 9 year old.

The curly fries were excellent because I stole some from my 16 year old son.

If I’m ever in the area, as Arnold would say…
I’ll be back!

Came back to KC and met friends there. We all said we’d come here whenever we were in the area. The food was excellent! The burger I had was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. The bartender made me a perfect Rob Roy which I didn’t think anyone knew how to make anymore. Exceptional service from super nice people. Very cool historic KC building. I highly recommend this place.

If you ever find yourself over off 39th Street and you can’t find something to eat, you’re not trying. This is one of those places where you don’t have to think twice about stopping in to find yourself something good to eat. The staff and interior pair well for the great burger and bar scene that this area thrives off of. The choice of the day was the Jalapeno Burger with Corn Nuggets. Come grab yourself a bite to eat, sit on the patio, and people watch 39th Street as it rolls on by

We wanted to stop in Kansas city for food,
One of my friends there suggested this place.
Literally one of the coziest, coolest spots we went to on this whole trip. They knew everyone by name, we had conversations with 4 different people. The music was stellar, the dude cooking looked like a young and healthy hulk hogan. You could see him slingin’ fried goods out in the open, this place was DOPE.
We got gyros that were some of the BEST ive had since working in a Gyro shop, many moons ago. Home made tzatziki with a little mint in it? Sign me up!
Ill be back for sure.

Stopped in for my first comestible foray. They specialize in burgers, at least that is what my server suggested. Which is why I chose Friday’s special, the Steak Dinner.

My steak came well done, with a rather insignificant salad, and baked with sour cream and . The baked was colossal and . I must admit the steak was very juicy. Unfortunately it lacked character, aka flavor.

Space is a scarcity. The interior was a bit dusty and cramped. The restaurant was dim. They were relying on natural light which did not reach very far into the establishment. The staff were making every effort to move diners along if they were not eating or drinking.

If you are prone to loitering, this is not your spot. If you enjoy an array of this may be your stomping ground. They have a small outdoor seating area. Parking availability is very limited.

It’s a quiet bar that’s been around since the 70s. We stopped in for a late lunch, and only a few people were there. It ended up being more expensive than we expected since the sides are purchased separately from the sandwiches. The menu is pretty simple. Everything we ordered was good.
