I’m a sucker for good bar food and beer. This food is from a scratch kitchen so it’s simple good ingredients with a twist of great flavor. I absolutely love the layout. It feels open and spacious with tall ceilings and the brick make it feel cozy. The staff was so warm and welcoming. I’ll be back 🙂

The beer cheese starter with pretzels was amazing! I also got the Alfredo. The tomatoes were fresh and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. The burger we got was cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were crispy. This is definitely a new staple spot for me!

I have been here a lot, and I do like this place. The staff is excellent and the vibes here are fantastic. Especially the rooftop in the summer. The only issue I have is that both the food and beer menu is fairly small, and I am pretty sure it has not changed for years. It would be nice if they would try new things from time to time.

Went here for an early New Years Eve dinner with our parents and kiddos. The waitress was excellent about our daughters food allergies, and she was very informed on their menu and what we should avoid. We were seated on the second floor, which was cozy and warm. The first floor also seemed inviting with varied height seating, and I’m sure the rooftop is great when it’s not raining. We started off with the pretzels and beer cheese, which were very good, and the loaded hashbrown squares were excellent, highly recommended. I had their Pub Burger, which was cooked to order, and the fries were great dipped in some leftover beer cheese. My husband had the fish tacos, which he would not recommend stating they were like frozen fish sticks on tacos, everything else he had he enjoyed, including his fork and knife salad. My kids went with the chicken tenders and cheese pizza and my son said the cheese pizza was good (he ate half) and the chicken tenders smelled and looked awesome but my daughter was apparently not hungry so she didn’t try it. My husband and I also enjoyed one of their beers and their house margarita, both were very good. Overall, I’d return to this location again in the future.

Recently went for dinner with a work group. We all brought up how unexpectedly great all the food was! I got the pub burger and loaded hash brown squares. The burger came out hot and it was huge, I asked for medium and it was perfectly medium. I got it with sweet potato waffle fries, they were so good! I wish I took pictures of our food to post, sorry! Anyways, if you’re looking for somewhere to eat definitely recommend Fretboard.

We had a couple of friends suggest this place, so we thought we’d give it a go. It definitely didn’t disappoint! Since the rooftop was closed, we sat at the bar. The bartender was great and very informative. Told us all about the restaurant and the beers. Gave us great suggestions for drinks and the menu. We tried some beer flights so we could get a good taste of several kinds and the “Big Blue Lemondade” YUM We started with the Fretboard Vlad Beer Cheese with veggies & pretzels, which was very good. He opted for the “Meat Loaf,” and I got the “Fish & Chips” and both were hot & delicious and I loved the house made tarter sauce. The bartender actually gave him a side of Mac & cheese as well because someone mistaken ordered it, and why not! LOL. He enjoyed that as well. We’ll definitely go back, especially once the rooftop is open to check out the view.

Loved this place! It’s hard to find places that serve gluten-free while traveling for work and this place understood the assignment. The manager, hostess and waitresses were pleasant, friendly and remembered me when I returned. I will definitely be back when I travel to that area again. I had the buffalo dip, fish and chips, alfredo and donut hole sundae. I would eat it all again!

My first time dining here was with a group from work. We had a party of 11 and were seated on the second floor. The seating options were only on the first and second floor when we were there. They also have seating options on the roof, but due to it being wet, the roof seating was closed. We had several appetizers. My favorite was the spicy shrimp, and the pretzels with beer cheese were a close runner-up. I had the pimento cheeseburger, and it was also delicious!
