The chimichanga is like an egg roll not what you think it would be, rice and beans has no flavor is pretty much a Chinese restaurant trying to pass off Mexican!!

I walked by this place so many times. Glad I gave them a try finally. The food is delicious and FRESH! We ordered the shrimp house salad, shrimp nachos, and some soft shelled tacos (chicken, shrimp, and beef). Portion sizes are good and well worth the price which is relatively inexpensive. I was expecting some limp sorry looking tacos on life support like Taco Bell, BUT I was pleasantly surprised when we actually got them because they were stuffed with a lot of goodness. From now on when my family wants tacos, this is going to be our go to spot. Customer services and delivery are also very good and the food came very fast!

I like the fresh food here. Very inexpensive and simple menu. If you want authentic and creative, go to Fair Haven. This is simple food with a majority of the menu under $10. Perfect for a cheap and filing lunch. Really large great salads. Restaurant owned by Koreans and its really good!!

Sorry, was really hoping for some real “Mexican” food here, or at least close to it, but it’s really like an Asian influenced, and totally Americanized spin on Mexican food (I guess) and it’s the only way I can describe it. I have no idea how it’s gotten all these “awards” from local diners. Overall, the food lacked your even basic of Mexican flavors, and spices. My tacos came in a deep fried Asian type taco shell thingy (not the usual Mexican hard shell taco, nor like the one’s pictured on their website). They were really crunchy and taste good, but heavy on the deep fry flavor being since they were not Mexican taco shells (corn), so it had an all over different flavor, again tasted more like how deep fried Asian food taste, it was probably made out of flour. The shrimp on my tacos were cooked in a tempura coating style and taste, they were good, but not Mexican, and with no other spices at all. The steak on my other taco was good, but everything else was bland, both served with lettuce, tomato & shredded cheese. I ordered some jalapenos on the side, thank goodness, and which finally gave my food a little kick. The salsa was also very bland, no spices at all to speak of, it was a runny red sauce with maybe some red hot pepper flakes in it? Lastly, I got a side of the Black beans which were so boring and bland as well, no spices to speak of, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, huge bummer and oh well. So if you like this kind of food that really isn’t “Mexican” you’ll probably enjoy it.

I have to say that their vegetarian options are top notch. As someone else noted, it’s not traditional fare, but the taco shells, beans, and guac are exquisite. Make sure to check out their new location on Grand Ave. – we were really worried that they had shut down for good, but they just relocated.

The people are so nice, but the food isn’t very good. I had eaten here a couple of years ago and liked it. Today I had a quesadilla that was okay, but no sour cream like I ordered and paid for. The tortilla chips (a side) were heavy and greasy. The guacamole was runny and pretty bad. I won’t be back. It’s okay, but not worth going out of my way.

Ordered seafood, huge mistake!! They use cornmeal for the coating, so everything tasted like cornbread. Ordered scallops & catfish, plus it came with onion rings and potato wedges. The wedges were really good. So unless you like your food tasting like cornbread, stay far away from the seafood!!

The amount that was given on a steak quesadilla was unacceptable for 8 dollars. I called the restaurant to say I’m disappointed and they didn’t even suggest a refund or reduced price. I’ve been ordering for many years and this left a very unsettling feeling. I will not be ordering from you guys anymore.

I don’t understand what most people expect from a fast food restaurant. If you want authentic Mexican food, you go to an actual sit down restaurant with waiter service. I got a chance to see how they make their tortillas and it’s from actual scratch ingredients, homemade, and not imported tortillas. For the most part, this is a basic Mexican fast food restaurant. You don’t go to McDonald’s for real good burgers or for taste. You go there for conviniece and this place has it.

Our office gets food here once a month or so. It is not traditional Mexican food, so if thats what you are expecting, you will be confused/disappointed. That being said, the food is quite tasty and reasonably priced for what you get. I always pick up the food so its fresh for me when I get it. I cannot comment on the delivery aspect…
