Simply UHmazing! We arrived to have breakfast and it was pleasantly not too busy. We asked Melanie for a high top near a window so we could enjoy the city view. We were unsure of what to order (it’s been 10 years since we’ve lived in Lakeland), so Melanie gave us the popular choices. My son ordered the steak bowl, and I ordered the shrimp and grits. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. At first glance of the website, I was unsure of the prices for breakfast, but when you see the portion size and you have a chance to taste this unbelievable cuisine, the price flies right out the window. Brava to everyone at Frescos. This was a wonderful experience to have with my son.

One of the best brunch spots I’ve been to! Spicy chicken and waffles, steak bowl, and apple bourbon monkey bread was all phenomenal! The manager Shane was the man as well. Get there early because the wait get long. Highly recommend!

Judging by my Shrimp & Grits dish, I would give this place 6 stars if I had the option. These were probably the best grits I ever had, perfect texture, amazing flavor. Shrimp was fabulous, and so was the gravy on top. My husband’s Cobia was very good too. The place looks great and the service was nice. We will return for sure!

This place was beautiful from the hostess upon waking in and the smiling staff while passing the bar to our table where we meet a most friendly and smiling waitress. The food was phenomenal and the beer and wine were not outrageously priced. The cakes and pies looked delicious and was hard to pass up that peanut butter chocolate cheesecake but I sure did give it numerous looks! Just go! You won’t regret it, you’ll even thank me.

This place has a great atmosphere in a wonderful location. Staff was not helpful after the wait food was good but fell short of expectations. Staff was younger with no clear direction and had an attitude of not wanting to help. Which is disappointing as I really wanted to enjoy this cool looking place. I saw bourbon on the wall I really wanted to try. I timed myself. Stood at the bar for 12 minutes before being told he would be right with me. He disappeared to the back and didn’t come out for another 4 minutes. I gave up. Paid my bill for brunch and went to spend my money where people seem to appreciate my business.

This was my second time eating here but first time dining in. We decided to celebrate my sons graduation here and I was really excited to eat in. If I was basing my review on just the food it would be a 10/10. I had the shrimp and grits with a side of egg and bacon and my husband had the fish sandwich with fries and let me just say both were delicious and the flavor was amazing. My son had the frescos burger meal and my daughter had the kids cheeseburger and my youngest son had the chicken tenders meal which they all really enjoyed (no leftovers lol). The manager was also a 10/10 and so was the young man who sat us down. He came over a few times to make sure we were happy with our seating because we had a table of 7 and sitting in a somewhat tight area but we managed to make it work. However, our waiter Kayla wasn’t so friendly. She came off very sarcastic and anyone we asked her a question her typical response was “She had no idea” send we heard her say this to other tables when she was asked a question as well. Also, there was a few times when my husband was talking to her and she would be looking at me and I pointed to him and said he was talking to you and then she walked away. We were annoyed that we had to give her a 20% tip because she really didn’t deserve it. I understand that tips are split amongst the waiter, bartender(if a drink was ordered from the bar), cook and so forth and that was why I didn’t fight it but she really didn’t deserve a tip. I really don’t like leaving 3 star reviews especially when the food was good but watching how she interacted with the other tables, I felt I had to. To future guest you will not be disappointed by the food but hopefully you get a waiter that seems like he/she is genuinely interested in serving you.
