If you looked up the term “hidden gem” online, there should be a picture of the Fresca Italian Kitchen. We tried the garlic knots, lasagna, stromboli, and spaghetti alla bolognese. Everything is incredible.

First, the sauce is fantastic and there’s plenty of it on everything. The food is all prepared flawlessly. The portions are generous. The pricing is also fairly friendly.

If I lived in the area, I’d eat here weekly.

Vacationing in Clearwater I did a Google search for Italian restaurants and found this fine restaurant with high reviews.

We walked in and the staff was very friendly. We ordered a bunch of entrées and some appetizers and the food was excellent. Next time I come back to the Clearwater Florida area I will definitely eat at Fresca Italian kitchen.

Highlights were chicken Parmesan and the meatballs

Found this when looking for a bite and saw the reviews and decided to try it out. It’s derectly across from Sam’s club on Gulf to Bay by the side of Holiday Inn and I must have passed by a million times without noticing it. It is a dinner style restaurant whereas you order at the counter and they bring you the food. It was extremely excellent, I had Chicken Parmesan and my wife had Spaghetti and meatballs and we got a side of garlic bread knots and marinara sauce. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we will definitely coming back. I just can’t believe it took so long to try. The staff not sure if they owned it but treated us very friendly and courteous.

You dont have to be Italian to love this place, but hubby is 100% Italian, and I’m 50%. We’re from NY, and the food here is authentic Italian. It’s owned by a guy that’s straight out of Italy. O.M.G….the eggplant parmesan! I thought my Mother (the Italian half) was in the kitchen! It comes as a sandwich, but I always ask for a platter. I also had the meatball/ricotta appetizer. Again, so close to my mom’s and my husband’s! Sorry, I scarfed down a meatball before I took the picture. And the pizza is THE CLOSEST thing to NY pizza we have found in the Clearwater area. If you miss real Italian food, or if you miss your Italian mom, go support this amazing restaurant! We’re so happy we found it!

My wife and I have driven by this quaint restaurant and finally were able to make our way in. Immediately we were greeted.

I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and she ordered a meatball sandwich. Both PHENOMENAL!!

To add to the food fun…we got their garlic knots. WOW so good.

We will be back…so many great items on the menu. Well done!!!

What a great find. A simple Italian eatery with a nice patio that is surprisingly quiet being at Gulf to Bay.
The Fresca sandwich is simply spectacular. The sandwich is stacked with layers of antipasti, topped with fresh mozzarella, and comes on griddle toasted in-house bread. The side of fries is plentiful and every fry was crispy on the outside and creamy in the inside. The eggplant parmigiana sandwich was delicious but I would have liked a bit tomato sauce to moisten the sandwich.

As advertised! Nice atmosphere, decor, welcoming service. We had the garlic knots-soft and garlicky and sauce was fresh and flavorful. Also had the meatball parm-large meatball on homemade Foccacia bread. A++

Don’t get the eggplant Parmesan to go if you’re hungry, and with my meal why would you give me potato salad. I’d be better off with a garlic knot! I can’t write the place off yet because the Aromas in there were phenomenal. I was completely let down when I opened my container, I’m not on a diet I want to eat.

Finally stopped by this place and I already can’t wait to come back to try a new dish. The place is quaint and clean. The music was perfect. The menu is small, which is perfect and not overwhelming. The breading on the fried ravioli is amazing and the corresponding Rosa sauce was delicious. I ordered meatballs with my spaghetti bolognese and I didn’t need it at all because there so so much meat already in the meat sauce. And the meatballs were HUGE. I can’t wait to come back and try the vodka sauce. Cannot recommend enough.

This tiny place tucked away next to Holiday Inn Express parking lot is an absolute hidden jam. What hole in the wall place serve’s montepulciano? The meatballs in spaghetti was simply out of this world along with perfectly cooked pasta. Highly highly recommended.
