First time here and the food was great!

The service was slow and they were out of steak, catfish, and biscuits from the people for Memorial Day weekend. This was a bummer since two people in our group of 6 had to change their meal choice.

The food was excellent!! The banana pudding French Toast is not on the menu but they did make it. The Pete Rose was a great combo of sweet and savory. I’ll definitely try it again in the future!

I really really wanted to give this place a great review but it was impossible. We came in at 11am on a Tuesday. They were out of catfish and steak. We ordered. The coffee came cold. Orders came out. We got 4 orders and were missing one which came out about 10 minutes after the rest. The side of potatoes was extremely small for $5. The side was cold, sent back and got another cold order. Big potato pieces were not cooked through. Never received a side of sausage we ordered. The actual French toast we got was really good. The restaurant was pretty cluttered and not too clean. The girl who was cooking was on her phone which did not give me confidence that her hands were clean. They were very disorganized and the waitresses seemed to be trying their best with what they had to work with. It was ironic to me that restaurant nightmares was playing on the TVs. They desperately need a restaurant manager.

This place is definitely more of a family diner style but the food is delicious. The staff was very friendly and nice, they did seem a little overwhelmed they might need to hire one more person, however I didn’t mind the wait becauS they were so sweet.
Also they need a bigger sign out front we drove around 3 times because we could not find it at first

Food was delicious! I loved the French toast. I would just use a different type of salmon and add a garlic flavor. Our server was amazing. And it was made cook to order so we had to wait for the goodness.

The food was good. We had the omelette, shrimp and grits, and salmon and grits. Although the wait was long, it was understandable, and we really enjoyed our meal. However, we believe the service could be improved. The servers could have spoken more kindly and taken the time to explain recommendations better, instead of rushing away from our table. Despite this, I still want to go back and try their chicken and fish. I hope next time the service will be more attentive and pleasant.

For a whopping $100 (for 3 people), we were served campsite French toast, twice baked meat, and ghetto grits.

They were out of several items and the portions were not comparable for the price.

The restaurant was housed, in what used to be a bank, it was a cozy and creative environment with modern minimalist hipster decor.

The server was nice and attentive. Overall would not return, as the recipes are more appropriate for Richie Rich than your everyday working adult humans.

We stopped here from out of town and everything was amazing!! Our waitress and the rest of the staff were so sweet and attentive. We got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich which was SO good. Probably the best one I’ve had. My husband got the French toast flight (birthday cake, cookies and cream, peanut butter and jelly, and strawberry cheesecake) and the flavors were immaculate. We also got a biscuit on the side which was the perfect salty, buttery biscuit. Not pictured because they were eaten as soon as they came out. I typically don’t leave reviews but I simply need everyone to know how delicious this place is. If we lived around here we’d certainly be regulars.

Today my daughters and I tried French Toast Heaven for the first-time. And we all were happy with the experience. The service was good. We were greeted when we entered the door, and seated promptly. I wasn’t too thrilled with being seated near the door because it was cold out, however I understand that based on the number in our party and availability it was necessary. The food options were plenty, and we were all indecisive on what we wanted. The server was patient with us when ordering. He didn’t offer any recommendations but we didn’t ask for any either. The food presentation was good. Everything was hot and fresh and very good, not over or under seasoned. I have already recommended this place to family and friends. We will definitely come back again.

Great service ! Thank you Cross for your attentiveness and recommendations. The host and assistant manager were nice. Overall service was slow. Ordered a flight of French toast as sun as we sat Down and it came out 45m later. Entrees took over an hour to receive.

Ordered the French toast fight (had Cross surprise us with flavors). We had apple, peach, Cinnamon today crunch and strawberry crunch. Honestly all of the French toast taste the same, just with different toppings. It makes sense, but ironically it was underwhelming. The toast (although cooked perfectly) didn’t really have flavor. I’d recommend the fruit topped ones.

Entrees
Two French toast and fried chicken (one original and one banana foster)
Two breakfast bowls- one with salmon and one with pork chops.
Strawberry cheesecake French toast

I’ll give them grace because they are new. But I hope they work out the kinks sooner than later.

First time here! We were greeted when we walked in and seated immediately. The server Rae was pleasant, knowledgeable and kept our glasses full. The place began to fill up as we waited for our food. We ordered shrimp and grits and catfish and grits, a French toast flight and fried potatoes and onions. The potatoes and onions were seasoned well but the onions were diced and the potatoes were hard. A no for us. Shrimp were small in the shrimp and grits but flavorful. The fish was fried perfectly but I really didn’t care for it although catfish is my absolute favorite fish. Not talking about the grits. The star of the show was absolutely the French toast flight! Thick fluffy decadent French toast covered in several toppings my favorites were the bedrock and the strawberry cheesecake. I will go back to support this black business and work my way thru the menu!
