family owned restaurant with great tasting food….everything we had was on point. We had the salad with shrimp and French onion soup as appetizers….for dinner we had the pasta with shrimp and the chicken breast with vegetables and fries….for dessert the flan….definitely coming back!

The French Table is OPEN. Seating is well-spaced. The salmon and linguini was perfect. White Bordeaux nicely dry. Josh had Chicken Forestier, which is one of the best dishes ever. We both had espresso at the end. Josh with flan, and I had the tasty assortment: tiny flan, chocolate mousse and creme brulee. We are so happy to see FT open. Service, as always, outstanding.

We were surprised by how great the food is at this little French restaurant. Walnut bread, French onion soup, pasta, muscles, stew, everything was so delicious. This place is family owned and they are super hospitable! We are definitely coming back before our trip ends!
Update- a year later we returned and ate here twice during our 7 day trip! Food was amazing as we remembered! My brother loved their muscles and managed to eat 4 orders in one night. We’re definitely making this our annual vacation spot!

Just got back from an AMAZING dinner at French Table!
Ordered the french onion soup and salad- perfect. Bread…soo good..
I ordered the coq au vin- I ate the entire dish..I NEVER eat the entire dish..
My husband ordered the Cassoulet..incredible! Everything was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was perfect. Marieke was a lovely hostess, very warm and friendly! Will definitely be back!!

If you are on Anna Maria Island, enjoying a meal at the French Table is a must! This is a family owned and operated business, and you feel like you are getting a home cooked meal, of the best quality! The husband Christophe is the chef. The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Marieke his wife was fun to talk to and she, along with her daughter, provided excellent service. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with soft lighting and French music- a welcome calm from the other loud restaurants around. We plan on returning before we leave the island in just a few short days.

This place is not similar to the reviews below. There was a completely different restaurant in this location before. The French Table, however, is an amazing and authentic taste of country Provence cooking at its best. It used to be owned by a lovely family, but they sold to this other family who runs it just as smoothly.
The food has always been amazing and the wine list is parfait! Small, quaint and lovely, you must call ahead for reservations, especially if you want dinner after 6:30pm. Definitely a must try, especially if you like home cooked food.

What a wonderful dinner, this was a last minute pick due to our first choice being on a 2hr wait. We were pleasantly surprised How good everything was. There were five at our table and everyone had the AMAZING french onion soup. Followed by a good sampling of the main menu and desserts. Everything was great…..everything! This is a family owned and run place and it shows. Thank you for the wonderfull service and excellent food!

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at the French Table and loved it. The owners are warm and welcoming, service is excellent. Dinner from homemade bread & onion soup; our entrees salmon & Cog au vin were delicious.The meal ended with coffee and three mini desserts. We highly recommend and will definitely be return diners.

Of all the restaurants we frequented during our week long visit to Lido Beach, French Table was the best by far! The food was amazing! The deserts out of this world! Even the wine selection was excellent (mostly Fench wines, which I prefer, anyway, because they don’t leave me with a headache). I’d leave 6 stars if I could. We will be back the next time we are in the area.
