One of the highlights of the French Quarter Grille is undoubtedly its incredible service. The staff are attentive and accommodating, ensuring that diners feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their meal. Complementing this exceptional service is the restaurant’s romantic ambiance, making it an ideal spot for special occasions or intimate dinners. The combination of these factors contributes to a positive and enjoyable dining environment, setting a high bar for the overall experience.
Despite the pleasant setting and attentive service, the food at French Quarter Grille did not meet my expectations. While I had hoped for an authentic taste of Creole cuisine, the dishes sampled failed to deliver the rich and distinctive flavors characteristic of the region. It’s possible that I could try another entree, but the experience left a desire for more genuine Creole flavors.
In conclusion, the French Quarter Grille offers a delightful atmosphere and exceptional service, making it a strong contender for a memorable night out. However, those seeking an authentic Cajun culinary experience may find the food lacking. While the ambiance and service are definite draws, potential diners should consider their priorities when choosing this restaurant.
Great atmosphere and service. This place is just five stars all the way. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu.
Jaime was incredibly kind and accommodating, which made the experience even better. And although I’ve never visited New Orleans (yet ), this definitely felt like the perfect little substitution. great flavor, great atmosphere, and great hospitality.
If you’re craving a touch of NOLA vibes right here in Austin, this spot is absolutely worth the visit.
Today was my first experience with this restaurant. Was greeted at the door and seated quickly. The waiter who has served there for over 14 years help guide me thru the menu.
I ordered the special of the day which was a blackened chicken over crayfish tails.
He wisely suggested the dirty rice and right he was.
The space was too good to leave there on the plate so the rice helped soak up all the rest leaving no reason to lick the plate, which I wanted to.
The owner, a well dressed flamboyant gentleman checked on us before we left and made sure we were satisfied.
Can’t wait to return to try out the rest of the menu. 5 stars !!
