Coffees & fresh baking from a stylish contemporary space with neutral shades & metro tiles.

We found this little cafe when we were on the hunt for brunch. The space is really small and quaint but so cute! The breakfast sandwiches and coffee were great! The staff was a little unsure about what ingredients are in some of their desserts so if you have food allergies, definitely ask for an allergy list or ingredient list.
Overall, definitely worth a trip!

Overpriced for what you get. Smoked salmon tartine had very little salmon. Caprese sandwich had stale bread and basil oil instead of pesto. Cod cakes were oily and still had bones. French macaroon (pomegranate) had little flavor. Even our kid who lives macaroons didn’t like it. Also very tiny space and people just sit and talk forever without eating it drinking anything. Coffee was mediocre. Better to get sandwiches from Volante farms down the road.

Amazing food! Great variety of options, perfect for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Flavors were exquisite and prices were fair for the quality. Can’t wait to return!

If you appreciate baked goods from a real working kitchen which is visible behind a glass window, and your company prefers a healthy sandwich or quiche, please make it to French Press. An attentive and welcoming staff member, L. Dupont served us an espresso, a brewed coffee, plain croissant, and an onion poppyseed bialy without any note of impatience, which would have been warranted given how long it took us to order. They carry a nicely packaged French line of tea that caught my eye because it was uniquely packaged with an extensive variety from which to choose. I purchased an assortment of scones to test tomorrow. Will add that review later.

The decorative work on these pastries is 5 star. I tried the gluten free hazelnut chocolate cookie and did not like it. It was overwhelmingly cinnamon-y and the texture was like an oatmeal bar rather than a soft cookie. I also didn’t enjoy the vegan oat bar, which tasted overwhelmingly of coconut oil.
I DID enjoy the rooibos tea, which was a French tea brand I had never heard of: mariage freres.
It was a lovely subtle flavor, and the tea bags looked unbleached (though I did not verify that).
I would love to come back and try some of the not vegan or gluten free items, as my bakery impression was that things look amazing but have one controlling taste, but I know there was far more here than I tried.

There’s a charming local coffee shop called French Press located in the heart of our town. This cozy spot is known for its welcoming atmosphere and delightful menu.
One of the highlights of French Press is its delectable assortment of pastries. You’ll find a daily selection of croissants, muffins, and scones These treats pair wonderfully with your beverage of choice, whether it’s a cappuccino or tea.
But that’s not all. French Press is also popular for its savory offerings. Their quiches are a local favorite, with a variety of fillings from classic Lorraine to vegetarian options. They make for a satisfying and wholesome lunch.
What truly sets this café apart is its outdoor seating area. The quaint patio, shaded by umbrellas and surrounded by potted flowers, provides the perfect setting for a relaxing coffee break or brunch with friends. It’s an ideal spot to soak up some sunshine while sipping your latte and enjoying a flaky pastry or a slice of quiche.
French Press isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a community gathering place. With its warm ambiance, delicious offerings, and inviting outdoor seating, it’s the go-to spot for locals and visitors alike to unwind and savor the simple pleasures of life.

Nice, warm, clean little place.
Support them instead of corporate starbucks!
Great taste in decorating the inside, cappuccino was slightly too hot but not a big deal.
Quiche fluffy and tasty.
Seating outside on a warm day is a plus.
Good job!

Busy early Sunday morning with lots of people in and out. Bialys and cappuccino were delicious! Guava pastry was burnt. I called and they were nice to bring my order outside Lots of outside seating. Definitely want to come back to try more French cuisine.
Edit: Came back again with my new pup! The staff was so nice to help me with my takeout. The chocolate croissant was the best one I’ve had in a long time. Also, the raspberry yogurt parfait was good and my partner loved his egg bacon and cheese sandwich. Also cappuccino with almond milk was great!

Nice little cafe with beautiful pastries, bak goods, appetizing salad, sandwiches, quiches, and soup. I had the a perfect cup of oat milk cappuccino. They have top of the line coffee machine! They maker All their pastries look so good. I did not get to try any pastries or food however gauged from the number of people that kept coming in and bought the pastries. It was non stop from 10-11 am at least. My sone had the open club sandwich and he said it was so so good. They bake all the goods fresh at location. There were not many seating about 6-7 stools by the window and a communal table with 6 seats. Also some out fresco seatings outside. It’s a nice cozy little place. Heaven for pastries lovers I m sure.

Great tasting food and coffee joint conveniently located in the heart of Needham center. The indoor seating area is very small so only recommend for pickup, especially during the winter months. In the summer months you can sit outside which is nice
