Visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. This was my second time here. Would advise making a reservation like we did. Waitress was Anna. Drink was delicious. Lobster mac and cheese and Firecracker shrimp were great apps. The lobster in the Mac was seasoned nicely. The sauce on the shrimp was great. Had half the lobster crepe and seafood Romano. The crepe dish was very rich. Sauce was good for dipping. The lobster felt a touch salty. The pasta was delicious. Dessert was Mississippi mud pie and was a winner.

A Candle lit experience for us while having a well balanced menu to choose from with excellent service.Waitress was on point and a manager is on the floor unobtrusively the whole time. He did not bother us at any point until the meal was over and then he came by and spoke with us as we were leaving to make sure everything was to our liking and invite us back. We had a good experience there and will go again in the future.

Came on a busy friday night and our service was great! Hudson gave us a nice spiel on the specials and great recommendations. We ended up getting a snapper special with rice pilaf, but felt it lacked flavor for being a $51 dish. We also got the stuffed grouper, which paired well with garlic mashed potatoes, but again the fish itself tasted a little bland. Great cocktail and dessert selection. Menu has lots of variety so we might come back to try other things.

We suggested French Market Bistro for a business lunch meeting because it is quiet and has a great atmosphere & great service. We ordered 3 salads with chicken & unfortunately they just weren’t all that great for the caliber & price point of this restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and the serving size was fine, but there just wasn’t a lot of flavor on the chicken. It didn’t taste bad, just not much taste at all. The dressings were mediocre at best. At least the dressings seemed to by made in house & not bottle which is a definite plus, but the flavor was just ok. Overall the experience was fine, I just expect a little more from the food in a 3 dollar sign priced restaurant. We have been here before with better experience with the food and will come back again and hope for better.

I wouldn’t come here for the service (C-), but the food was phenomenal (A+). I recommend what I had (eg the brie crab soup, half dozen chargrilled oysters, and the half duck). The folks I met at the bar were great too and made my experience memorable & enjoyable (ironic because they don’t even work there). Of all the people serving behind the bar, only Sarah (Sara?) acknowledged me to take my order, and even that took about ten minutes while guests who arrived after me were helped before me. Very bizarre, unfriendly vibes. The Barback did keep my water glass full though! That was nice.

We went for lunch. We haven’t visited this restaurant for a two years. Prices were a bit high. But the food wasn’t great. We ordered veggie pizza and we thought it was the worse tasting pizza we ever had. My duck wasn’t tasty. The egg rolls appetizer had three small egg rolls little bigger my fingers and cost $15.
Truthfully , we will not come back. We don’t mind paying more money if the food was good.

Saturday night, December 20, 2025 a party of nine. Excellent service by Alex and his team. Between all us we ate over 25 items. Out of the 25 items only 1 was rated low by one person. (the lobster crepes, she said they were too mushy) Everyone else raved about the food. Not to mention the two beautiful hostesses that made us feel welcome when we arrived and appreciated when we left. I would highly recommend the French Market Bistro.

Came here for my birthday with friends. Really nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. The only negative thing I would say is service is spotty. I’ve been here twice and both times I ordered items that were not brought to the table. The manager did apologize and comped drinks after the first time going here, so I gave it another chance. The second time was a large party and several people ordered oysters at the same time time I ordered an appetizer. All of the oysters were brought to the table, but my appetizer was forgotten. The server did apologize and did not charge us for it, but it’s disappointing to hear such rave reviews about a restaurant for it to be a mediocre experience, twice.
