Charming cafe in Findlay Market for classic French fare, from breakfast to steak frites & cocktails.

During my visit to Cincinnati one of my friends took me there for breakfast. Had a cup of hot chocolate and a french dip sandwich. It was an amazing dish and loved it. The staff was very friendly and supportive. We had a nice time enjoying the breakfast. This is a nice restaurant. Loved it.

I had a mixed experience with breakfast. The two eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, with nice runny yolks. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, and the red potatoes were good—well-seasoned and nicely roasted. The side of fruit was fresh and delicious, adding a bright note to the meal. However, the Eggs Benedict was a letdown; the overall dish felt underwhelming, and slightly under cooked eggs. So I probably wouldn’t order it again. The Bloody Mary was decent, with not much spice, nothing standout. Overall, solid for the classics, but I’d skip the Benedict next time.

I’ll be dreaming about the Shrimp and Scallop Vol Au Vent for the foreseeable future. They type of meal you have that ruins other meals because of how good it is. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, the puff pastry was nice and flakey, and the shrimp and scallops were incredible. The ONLY note I would have is it felt like our waitress kept forgetting about us, but she was very kind.
And you can draw on the tables. I should’ve led with that.

We came in for brunch and the food was exceptional. We ordered the catch of the day (which was salmon with tomato basil risotto) and a shrimp and scallop dish as well. Both were delicious. Our server was great, he answered all of our questions. It was my birthday and they let me pick a dessert from the case! I got the three-layer mousse and I recommend it. Overall, great service and quality of food. We will be back!

Jean Ro would be appalled at some of the things being served here claiming to be French. I do not want to write an essay, but the server was extremely rude, the food was mediocre and lukewarm at best. The photographs are of their $7 side of fries, which were cold and had to be sent back and a “seasonal fruit tarte” which as having lived in France for over a decade I can tell you that this is not a tarte at all, When she asked how it was, and we informed her that it was misleading as that is not actually a fruit tarte she decided to argue with us and say that the Patisserie chef is fully trained, and therefore that must be a seasonal fruit tarte and “honey, you’re wrong” is what she said.
This place earned 3 strikes in one visit with me. Head to “Luca” in Mt Adams if you actually want an “authentic French Bistro”.At least the Chef is French.
I have added a picture of an actual French fruit tart for reference.

My wife and I love French food and visit France a lot. Our grade is tough. The service was great. Loved the cappuccino. The baguette and bread were lovely. My escargot were great but not served like in burgundy. Who cares. Tasted great. My quiche Lorraine was a bit overdone but had a good flavor. My wife liked he onion soup.

Great brunch spot, especially if you like delicious pastries. Cozy atmosphere, excellent service. Findlay Market is across the street.
I often enjoy their omelette or quiche du jour with a cup of soup. All of the savory croissants are good too.
Convenient parking as well as very close street car stop.

All I can say is that the food is well worth the wait. The quiche was fantastic crust was flaky and the ingredients are so fresh. I started off with the almond chocolate croissant to die for. It was buttery and oh so delectable. A must have. Can’t wait to return for dinner

I take my grandmother often for Sunday Brunch before hitting up Findlay Market. She loves their quiche & mimosa’s. I always change it up & have never been disappointed. The food and service are always fantastic. Today I had the scrambled egg croissant & it was delicious.

As my wife put it – “this is such a cute place”. Indeed, it is. You feel like you are in France once you step in the door. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit here. First, the good: the food. My “Le Burger” had a nice char on the outside, but juicy inside. My wife enjoyed her Steak and Brie Sliders, but she said it could have used more brie. Our desserts were killer (just see my photo): mousse domes, one coffee and one a Valentine’s Day special with a liquid pipette! On the negative side was the service. Even accounting for the European style of slow-pace dining…it was slow. They clearly needed more servers and/or bussers on this busy Saturday night. Dishes were piling up on tables, and not cleared. We were there over two hours – which isn’t all bad if you enjoy the vibe, as we did. We would certainly come back here, as long as there’s no hurry!
