Great place tot eat and drink! Food is tastefull. We can recommend any fish fish, especially the tuna as a starter. People were really friendly. Although, the restaurant is not big, room was made for our baby carrier. Next time, we would like to have a smaller spoon for our dessert, we were not rating soup 😉

Charming place, larger inside than expected but still cozy. Tasty food with large portions. Almost a challenge to eat as the sandwich is so large! French and local wines available. Dogs allowed inside. Friendly service. Recommended.

We popped in here after visiting the wine tasting in front and the French Jazz/Cool music oozing onto the street attracted us in. We were greeted by the friendly staff and the cool decor inside. Staff are super friendly and went through the wine list with us. The food looks great too and more importantly the ambience and vibes are brilliant.

Oh My God!!!!! New came to celebrate birthdays! Wedding Anniversary’s, and retirements and this place did not diss appoint from the appetizers all the way through the entire meal!!!!!

A great little French spot in the middle of Lissabon! It was a very quiet Wednesday evening that we walked around the area and one of the guests (very nice lady!) Insisted that we must try it! We already had some drinks and bites but could share some food and the lady suggested the Dorade and we where very happy she did! Amazing and with the leek and veggies a great way to end our day. We would highly recommend this place for some great Frenchyness in Lissabon. Thank you for the great service.

Well I must say first the food was good. Not amazing or mind blowing, but good and service was good, but again not amazing. Second, for advertising french, i didn’t see much on the menu for french, and what they do have was not available. In the end there were five items not available, was ridiculous. And price for quantity and quality doesn’t match. So 3 stars for being good.

A little out of the way, French Arth is named after it’s French executive Chef. You would expect to find this quality of food at 4 star and above rated restaurants.
The foie gras, oysters, filet, french fries, wine paring, tartare, dessert were enough to bring us to several emotional moments.
I hope savvy travelers will read this review as a sign that this tiny little restaurant can make their night.

I really try not to leave negative reviews but our experience was not great. The server was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The issue was not a lack of effort. The red wine we had was tasty but overpriced at $36, for the level of age and flavor. We ordered the ribeye steak for two. It was perfectly cooked to order, rare, but lacked flavor. This indicated to me that it was not fresh and/or not from a good butcher. A little more salt and better during grilling would go a long way. The prawns we had were also either not fresh or stored improperly, not cleaned well, and not well prepared. They had saltwater remaining in them and were larger, which meant they were also grainy. Our bill was over $100. We appreciated the treatment and kindness of the server but did not enjoy our meal. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them.
