This is such a neat place. While traveling I always try to eat local. I needed a nice bread to compliment a soup I was making and decided to take a trip to Freida’s. I’m so glad I did! Not only did I get a beautiful enormous loaf of sourdough, we also picked up a few pastries to try for breakfast.
Sourdough was 10/10, and pretzel croissants dipped in a roasted broccoli cheddar soup? Yes ma’am, amazing! You must try it!
The (super cool) lady who helped us was so genuine and kind. She was so patient with me while I couldn’t make up my mind, and was spot on with her suggestions. I wish I had gotten her name, I’d name my next super cool plant after her.
I will make this my regular spot while I’m in this part of the state.

2025: A-MAZING sandwiches. Perfectly curated gourmet sandwiches & premium ingredients. Good portions and delicious! Bakery items are excellent, too. Thank you, Freida’s for a local gourmet option. If Freida’s maintains the quality and the portion sizes, they will be a successful & favorite destination for the local area & beyond.
2026: Still our favorite indulgence. We took family and one said Freida’s might be better than a favorite NYC sandwich shop. They’ve kept up the quality, creativity & portion sizes! And yes, you could split a sandwich but they’re so good, you’ll want the 2nd half later, trust me!

Open only Friday and Saturday and well worth the wait. Great artisan bread, the cheeses are amazing, clotted cream – yum! The staff are friendly. I bring all our guests to this place for a yummy memory to the Palm Coast area.

Our family stopped by this bakery yesterday morning on a recent trip to Palm Coast. It was difficult deciding on what to order because everything looks so delicious! We all ended up sharing so that we could sample a variety of pastry items. We enjoyed matcha and a chocolate croissant, cheddar scallion biscuit, morning bun, and a cinnamon bun. All were wonderful! The cinnamon bun was absolutely incredible and turned out to be my favorite! There is a nice outdoor patio area to sit, have coffee and savor every bite!

The perfect bakery + sandwich spot. I got the prosciutto with fig jam, burrata, basil & balsamic glaze. Their focaccia is soft and delicious. The seating outside is nice and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Freida’s – is tucked into a compact space – but they have a LOT of selections. I had the bagel with cream cheese/lox/capers and onions…. I’m still dreaming of the perfectly blended flavors. Each serving will feed 2 people – so be prepared for some yummy leftovers. We also ordered a small sourdough bread along with an Emily G’s Jelly selection (for late that night and early in the morning). We loved the outdoor eating area – under the palm tree that was swaying in the wind…. some fun party lights… and the vibe of beautiful old Florida. We will be back EVERY TIME we come to Florida for a visit. Freida, Please save me one (or 5) of those HUGE cinnamon rolls – I want enough for my entire family. Or, I have an even better idea – please open up Freida’s II in Highlands NC so I can come visit your beautiful bakery once a week.

Incredible spot. The Italian sandwiches are outstanding and tied for my top 5. Freida’s baked goods are delicious. They use homemade focaccia. I had a salumi – insane. Som #2 had the prosciutto and big brother chose the Mortadella. All of the ingredients are perfection. They don’t skimp on anything. We would have gone several more times but they closed for the New Year’s holidays. Based on our watching them work, a rest is well-deserved!
The staff is friendly and helpful. The young lady who who works the counter is extraordinary how she keeps things moving and has the patience of a saint.
There may be a line. Get in it. It’s worth a little investment of your time and it will “deliver!”

Small place with limited hours but oh so delicious! Here on vacation and stopped for lunch. The sandwiches are huge and so fresh and full of flavor, we could have split one if we knew how big they were. Parking was a little bit challenging but want to go back and try some of the wonderful looking croissants.
