This is a gem in El Reno. The staff were nothing but pleasant and the food was amazing. The burger was seasoned really well and so when you bit into it was filled with flavor. The Chicken Fried Chicken is seasoned and breaded to perfection – not too heavy on the breading, just the right amount of crisp. The jalapeño ranch was incredible, too. I’m not usually one for spicy foods, but it delivered a mild heat that was combined really well with the creamy ranch. Definitely a must, even if you don’t live in the El Reno area. It’s about 30-40 minutes from OKC, but it’s well worth the drive.

Just west of OKC there is a hidden gem that is Freeman’s! The vibe of historic honor and clean open space with nostalgia and comfort is beyond amazing. The staff is phenomenal and the owner, Mike – speaks from a place of passion meeting project to respect the integrity and history of both the space and the menu – Miranda was exquisite in her cocktails and Service and the food … OHHHHH the food – when I tell you this place will transcend you to your memaws kitchen but with a little extra flavor I am not lying! Hands down best meatloaf I have ever eaten and the flame grilled touch to it is beyond chefs kiss !!!!!!! And do yourself a favor – do NOT miss the apple pie with CINNAMON ice cream ! We will be back , we will schedule special events and we will say we told ya’ll about this place when it’s packed and you can’t even get a seat because it’s coming !
12 out of 10 yum!

We attended their Valentines Dinner. It was a three course meal; salad, entree, and dessert. It also included a drink from the bar. The food was delicious. We needed to go boxes. The service was also excellent. We will definitely be returning again.

We enjoyed our waitress. She was definitely laughing at everything we said as I said I am Judy J Foster Comedy. Everything was a joke, so don’t want her thinking anything else.
Definitely a local place as everyone knows everyone. My manager had goulash. I had a bun-less burger as requested but it was a bit overcooked. Fries were good but what is the yellow seasoning? Glad to know Buddy is doing well and is a good motto. A bit pricey for our meal, but the atmosphere is welcoming.

A nicer place to go eat without the expected higher price. You don’t need a suit but I would wear my nicer clothes here.
The outside dining was very nice.

Super impressed with everything here. It’s big and open and got some really cool decor. Some small town “downtown” restaurants feel like you’re eating in a hallway. Not here, very spacious and a very nice bar. The food though is even better. Went here with my crew and one of the guys got the meatloaf and said it’s the best he’s ever had period. I had the chicken fried steak, Mac and cheese, and loaded baked potato. Folks it was unreal. Super delicious. The staff was fast friendly and attentive. What a Home Run for El Reno. Great spot !

Great hometown feel in a beautiful historic building in downtown El Reno. The owners have really put a lot of work into opening this place but keeping the historic details front and center! You can scan the QR code on back of menu to read more about the pictures on the walls and the history of the building and El Reno.
We have eaten at Freemans several times and have been impressed with all the various dishes we ordered, but meatloaf seems to be our FAVORITE! We tried the chicken and dumplings, chicken friend steak, fried cheese, fried mushrooms and green chili gouda soup and they were all great! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! We are now regular weekly customers!

My lady and I tried Freeman’s tonight for dinner and it was great! The atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic. We will definitely be going back. It’s great to have a nice food spot close to home, and not have to go to Yukon or okc. Prices were also very fair and portions were nice sized.

Service is top notch. We feel like we have been friends for years and just over for dinner on a week night.
The Meatloaf, Sloppy Joe, Chicken Fried Steak, Philly Cheesesteak and Mac N Cheese are to die for. We can’t wait to come back (again and again).
