Very disappointed with the service. I ordered DoorDash for the first time in like forever… And almost my entire order was wrong. I ordered a bowl with steak cilantro rice PINTO beans, QUESO, which i paid EXTRA for and did NOT receive), PICO, CHEESE, and corn. Literally got NONE of the correct toppings, my pico was just cut up tomatoes, no cheese, and no queso that i paid EXTRA for, and got the incorrect sauce. it was gross, cold, and i’m not coming back to this location.

Every bite is so flavorful. The tortilla strips make the bowl crunchy. Potatoes add extra joy for potato junkies like me. Tomatillo salsa is mouth watering.
Cilantro lime rice and cauliflower rice are so tasty. And there are so many choices for sauces.
If you are looking for a delicious, healthy, filling vegetarian bowl you have to try Freebirds!

Just had a burrito last night from Freebirds, and it was seriously delicious! The burrito was packed with flavor, and the service was on point too. The staff was friendly and quick, making the experience even better.
But here’s the thing… they forgot to include my 3 BBQ sauces in the bag! I was really looking forward to that extra kick with my burrito. Still, the food was great, and I’ll definitely be back. Just hope they remember the sauces next time!
All in all, a solid experience, just a small hiccup with the sauces. Can’t wait to go back!

Austere and Clean. This taco shop was good but not especially remarkable. The food was good but not what I’d refer to as outstanding. Everything was fresh and tasted good but not to a unique or mouth watering level. The main detraction was the tortillas, if they were made fresh in house the flavor profile would have been drastically improved. I had the limited time Prime Rib Freebird burrito which I found virtually indistinguishable from just the regular steak version.
While I would say this place is good for a quick bite or maybe your lunch hour from work. Their are many other choices out their with far better quality. Also the staff where polite but not in anyway engaging no one asked us how our meal was or anything other then took our order, then took our money and that was it. If the place was slammed busy I’d understand that but it was virtually empty with like 3 other customers already seated with their food. No line at the counter and no sign that a recent rush had occurred. The atmosphere here was like a commercial franchise sandwich shop. It was fast, our order was made and done before we reached the end of the counter, It filled our stomachs for a competitive price but that’s the highest praise I can find for it.

I ordered online for delivery, It’s been over 10 years since I’ve eaten at a Freebirds, Surprisingly they have NOT diminished in quality or quantity. Great tasting food, Kudos to the owner.

I came in to get a chicken burrito on today at 5:53pm. I looked at the bit of chicken that was left in the bin and it was dried out. I asked if I could get fresh chicken. A Caucasian lady didn’t even look up because she didn’t care…She said sorry that’s all we have! So all you have is dried out chicken to serve to your customers! No worries! I’ll NEVER come back! I’m sure Chipotle and Chiloso will do way better!

We used to frequent this location because of the good food and and nice staff. Today we visited it for lunch and found out the nice manager is gone. So sad, she always greeted you with a smile. So with that said, our food was cold. The sign stating that you could get quesa birria, was inaccurate. They no longer have it Then Diana was rushing down the line throwing whatever in my bowl. She completely ignored my requests for what I wanted in my bowl.
Freebirds sent a coupon for 10 percent off to get us to come in…. Sorry, this will be the last visit to the castle hills location. Terrible service

I ordered online, my order was ready shortly after I arrived. They have me all the bells and whistles I asked for. The meat cuts looked phenomenal, and I’m a vegetarian. Queso is delicious. Top tier service, Jake was so patient with me. Y’all come get fed!
