This is a fairly new restaurant to Crowley Texas. So far the food is fantastic. If you come here to try it which I highly recommend you should be sure to try the chicken fried steak. It’s outstanding. The beers are very cold. Staff is extremely friendly and the facilities are clean. They do have a baby changing table in a family restroom so that’s helpful too if you have small children. Overall, if you happen to be in Crowley or if you’re even passing close to Crowley, this is a good place to stop.

The food was good! Burgers was tasteful just a little greasy. Side salad was good. The coconut margarita was really good! Nice place to have in Crowley. We will be back!

After visiting other locations of Fred’s Burgers, we decided to check out their new restaurant in Crowley, Texas — and we were not disappointed.
From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. We were greeted right away, seated quickly, and the attentiveness never stopped there. Our server Hector was incredible — anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. That kind of service stands out.
For appetizers, we started with the queso dip, which was outstanding. They use flour tortillas instead of corn, which gives them a unique, extra-crispy texture. We also ordered the brown sugar–infused bacon, and it completely exceeded expectations. The combination of sweet bacon topped with spicy chilies was bold and delicious.
The drinks were just as impressive. The draft beer was so cold there was ice forming on top of the schooner. My wife said her mixed drinks were excellent and perfectly balanced.
For entrées, I had the traditional chicken fried steak — and when I say it covered two-thirds of the plate, I’m not exaggerating. It was massive and cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the Fred Burger, and we loved that you can choose exactly how you want your meat cooked.
The manager, Adrian, personally came over to check on us and even sat down to explain that everything at Fred’s Burgers is made fresh — nothing frozen, nothing pre-prepared. You can absolutely taste the difference.
Prices are very reasonable, with meals ranging between $15–$18 and appetizers around $6–$10.
They’ve only been open seven weeks, and the place was packed — which says a lot. I appreciate that Fred’s Burgers invests in small-town communities. As a bonus, this location is closer to our home, and we’ve already decided it will be our go-to spot when friends and family come into town.
If you’re anywhere near Crowley, do yourself a favor and check out Fred’s Burgers. Support a local company with a genuine small-town feel — you won’t regret it.

Delicious Burgers! I ordered the Bacon Blue Cheeseburger & it was Fantastic! Fresh cut french fries are my favorite. We also ordered the TODO Jalapeño Burger, the pepper jelly was awesome. Everything was well seasoned. Service was great. Great place to bring your family for lunch and/or dinner. We will definitely be back!

Ok so went to the New Fred’s burger joint. Let me say with confidence Fred’s is back! The similar vibe to the 7th St. Location. Open, lively, Great feel of that mix of Bar and Food. The burgers were excellent. The service was outstanding. Will our Server / Bartender & Cheyenne the manager. They were awsome. Although they ran out of Queso and chicken fried steak. I can’t be upset. Again it’s still a soft opening. But I highly recommend going to this location. The quality of the food is what everyone knows and loves about Fred’s. Pictures are of the Big Fred burger & the Badlands burger. Also thier wonderful fried pickles. Definitely have the spicy ranch for a little kick. Definitely recommend.

PI’ll start this review with the statement that Fred’s just opened recently so we expected a little roughness on our first visit. There was a huge crowd and a 45 minute wait but we decided to brave it and we were seated in about that amount of time. Service was good, our waitress got right on the drinks and took our order right away. To be fair she warned us that they had never been this busy and that the food was a little slow coming out. Again, we figured that we would wait it out. It took a solid 45 minute to an hour before we finally got our food. Thankfully it was delicious and hot. If it had been bad this would have been a merciless roast instead of a basically positive review. I had the Bacon Bleu burger and it was delicious. Bun was fresh and tasted like it could have been made in house. The beef patty was big, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Lots of bacon, fresh produce, and several crispy bacon strips topped it off. As big as it was I had no problem devouring the whole burger. My wife ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was hot, crispy, and spicy. My granddaughter wasn’t looking for a big meal so she ordered a chicken salad which was fresh and tasty. The server kept our drinks full while we waited so except for the wait I give the whole meal two thumbs up. I’m sure as they settle in the wait times will come down and we’ll have another to notch restaurant to choose from in our little town.

I had the Fred cheeseburger. It was good but I prefer a smaller meat patty. It was very tasty as 1/2 pound patties go. Lots of hot crispy fries. It was so much food, I had leftovers for lunch the next day. A friendly and efficient waitress even though I was with a group of eight. I recommend this place.

Wow, the new hidden gem of the area. Maybe not so hidden anymore, though! This place hit all the right things, food had the homemade feel and real, not frozen. Fred burger, bolo burger, chili, and chicken fingers for the boy, all really good. I should have taken pictures but my belly was quick on this one. LOL GREAT FOOD, BETTER SERVICE! Music that brings back the old soul. We will be back!

Make sure to check your to go orders before you leave! I’m highly allergic to mustard, request mayo instead of mustard and got home it was saturated in mustard. Too far to drive back, but the dogs were happy. At least they forgot onions on both burgers. The lamb stew was delicious. But the drive to Ft Worth is faster than a trip to the er!
