Went here after a long wait at another restaurant and we were hungry! I got the jalapeno burger and it was soooo good! My partner enjoyed his french dip.

This place was decent!! The fries were perfect, and the portions were pretty big too. Service was fast! We ordered the turkey panini, lobster bisque and jalapeño business burger. I will say that the lobster bisque, while it tasted good, was not warm enough and kind of tasted like it probably came from a prepackaged bag they buy in bulk. The cheesy garlic bread that came with it was the only redeeming quality.

Food was great. Coconut prawns was crunchy and coconut not overpowering. Asian tacos was delicious. Wish they had put more peanut sauce. Philly steak was OK. Fish and chips were fresh and tartar sauce was amazing

Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse is exactly what you expect, a bar and grill. We have been here many times with friends and it is consistent and comfortable. This time four of us stopped for dinner. I started with a beer, an Overcast Espresso Stout from Nitro. It was a solid stout and I would have it again. One person had the Chicken BLT Salad with a side of cheese bread and was happy. Another had the Porter Ale Meatloaf and was mostly happy, though the baked potato was fairly small. Two of us went with burgers,. One had the Ale Housel Burger, which is a double burger with onion rings and BBQ sauce. I had the Hog Wild Burger, which added ghost chili BBQ pulled pork. The burgers were good, but next time I will go with the Mill Burger, the standard burger, since the pulled pork did not add $2 to the burger in my opinion. The service was solid as usual.

Excellent customer service today. My friend and I were served by a nice gentleman, who knew how to make a perfect Bloody Mary! I will definitely be returning.

Nice pub. Food was a little disappointing. Maybe too “pub-like” for my palette that day.. my sandwich bread was too cooked/crunchy so spoiled it for me. Staff was pleasant enough. Maybe I’ll stick to an appetizer if I go back ~

Very chill spot. Hopping at dinner time (after 5 pm, even on a Monday). Friendly, fast servers. Superb pub snacks. Crinkle fries! Great place to bring friends. Lobster bisque is the best. Go for Happy Hour, M-F 2-5 pm.

Love this place! The lobster bisque is Out. Of. This. World. The burgers are seasoned to perfection and not being a waffle fry kinda gal, I love theirs. Their salad dressings are made in-house and are delicious. The only minor thing would be the fish and chips are not very tasty, cooked well but need some more seasoning.
