To our surprise, Frederick’s was being renovated and had limited seating. However, it did not stop the excellent service and food from happening. We enjoyed our delicious meal. And even though there was only one waitress and one cook, you could not tell.

I went last night order two doubles it was $40, not complaining about the price. I’m complaining about how small the drinks were for that type of money. The glass wasn’t even half way filled. You want to charged those type of prices at least give out the correct portion. I’m a bartender too and those drinks aren’t at a 8 count. SMH typical business remodeling and then raises the prices and give out short portions. Drink before you go being that’s a rip off. Hopefully they fixed smell too. Last time we went it smelled like straight fish and we walked right back out the door. Won’t be going back.. overrated and stingy.

They have way too many hidden charges that didn’t use to be there. They charged me $3.75 for a processing fee on an order that’s $100 for two people. Most processing fees are not included on purchases over $5-10. I asked for a lemon drop, which is normally made with vodka. The bartender asked if we wanted to use tequila instead and we said sure. She said she would surprise us with something. We get the bill and ONE drink is $25….and the manager proceeds to tell me “she didn’t even charge you for the extra stuff, just a double shot”……even though I didn’t ask for any of that. And to make it worse, they automatically applied a gratuity on a 2 person bar seat. $19 for gratuity. The tip industry is voluntary. You don’t get to take matters into your own hands on something that’s meant to be voluntary. I tip every time and I’m a server. I normally spend $60-80 for two people with 2 drinks included, at this establishment and always tip. My bill this time was $121 and I only got 1 drink. Crazy….I will not be back. I was hosting a dinner party at this place and will take my 30 people and go else where. The morals of this establishment is not customer focused. If you want your servers to make consistent money, make their payroll hourly and take it off the back end. Don’t force money out of my pocket in a industry that’s voluntarily.

Came here as a recommended spot to eat since I’m from out of town. I was in the mood for some fried fish and they did not disappoint. The perch was fresh and seasoned nicely, I had to get the mixed vegetables since their greens were cooked in pork. While I was disappointed about the greens, the veggies were surprisingly good. The highlight was the pecan sweet potato pie!!! I had to close my eyes with every single bite, yes it was that good!! Not too sweet and it was served warm. Our waitress Michelle was the best and the live band was the icing on the cake. I would definitely come here again if ever in Cleveland!!

Been patronizing this place since it first opened and always enjoyed the atmosphere. The service has declined in the last 6-9 months, however I decided to dine in a few times hoping things improved. As of my last time ordering food, I will never patronize again. After picking up my order, I got home which is 20 mins away to discover macaroni full of raw snd broken egg shells throughout it. Mistakes happen, so I call to look for them to resolve and provide a refund. I took pictures and over the phone they tell me to drive back to remake the food.. which is unacceptable. I was told the manager would call back but she never did. The next day I happen to be in the area but I called again hoping someone would assist.. I call and got the voicemail so I decided to stop by. The manager comes out and says “oh I heard what happened but I can remake but no refund. I say,Who wants food from a restaurant that has raw, broken, harmless and choking hazards in their food? She didn’t care and argued with no logic.. I showed pictures and she handled the situation poorly. It’s unfortunate because I am sure the owner would of addressed it differently. It’s unfortunate but I hope they hire a new team to keep this place from going under.. down to those who just answers the phone unprofessionally. Word of mouth goes a long way… I could of overlooked the food mishap but the customer service was just pure trash.. a family of 5 that dines here 3x a month gone..use your discretion spending money here

They are doing some remodeling to the restaurant even though it is still open and available for food orders with a small dining area with two tables and chairs. The food has went up in price. To catfish dinners cost a total of $56.20 very expensive meals with small size portions. Overall the food is good and tasty.

My wife mother and I had a Horribly long wait for food. Waitress was on her job. But we waited for an hour before when she came out with only one plate. Waiting another 10 before the second plate and then 5 min for the third.Hostess had horrible customer service. When my mom asked for her food the response was rude and unprofessional.
