Never been to a Freddy’s, so this is a first time experience to a new location. The Tots were real good. The Vanilla Shake was good as well. The Double Cheeseburger was tasty, but the double of thin patties was probably thinner than single patties at other fast food burger joints. I guess shrink-flation is real, or maybe it is just the Freddy’s way. Even though I was there on a weekday late afternoon, the restaurant was noisy, even with no other patrons sitting at tables. Service was fast enough for me dining-in, and there was a pretty long drive through crowd and the staff handled the volume well. Would I eat here again? Probably. Personally, I’m glad it isn’t an In-N-Out with stick fries. But for the dollar, I’ll probably continue to go elsewhere. To each his own. Cheers.

My first time at a Freddys tonight. The restaurant wasn’t too busy but the drive thru was outrageous. You couldn’t even get into the parking lot to eat inside. We almost left and went elsewhere. The restaurant was fairly clean but the floor was covered in water non stop at the counter where you make your drinks, get plastic ware, sauce and napkins. I almost fell 2 different times. I mentioned the water to management. The food was pretty good and seemed fresh. The custard was amazing!

We enjoyed our food. It was hot and fresh. We had the Prime Rib Burger, California Style Burger, Tots and Fries and sodas. I think that the meat needed a little more seasoning but it was tender and well-cooked. The fries and tots are lightly seasoned and were fresh and crispy. I should have asked for pickles lol The fry sauce was good. This is a Pepsi place btw. We plan to return to try some other stuff.

I downloaded the Freddy’s app and it gave me a coupon for a free burger that was valid for 2 weeks. Because they pushed the opening of this location back several times it expired before I could use it. I told an employee at the door that was greeting customers on opening night about it and he covered my entire meal!
Friendly staff, fast service (they were packed and I only waited maybe 10-15 minutes,) and great food. So happy to have a consistent and amazing place to eat at with my friends!

Here’s my honest review. I was very excited about eating here considering it was my first time. I ordered a chicken club sandwich combo, and my fries were cold and the sandwich was small. I thought the sandwich (chicken patty) would be a lot bigger for the price I paid. The chicken didn’t really have that pop of flavor to it. Overall the drive-thru was indeed a long wait, but the guy at the window was very nice. I’m not sure if I’ll go back. The frozen turtle custard was okay.

This was my third visit. I had trouble ordering at the drive thru. So the order was wrong needless to say. When they took my money and handed me a drink she closed the window and turned her back so I was not able to try to correct the order. When she finally brought the food I explained the order was wrong and asked if I could add the missing items. She had to go ask someone! So no one has ever added to their order at the window? I drove off because at this point Freddy’s is a hard no. The food is inconsistent and they are too busy to be friendly or haven’t managed to include it in the customer experience. The orange frost has a different appearance and texture each time I have had it. Today it’s gritty. Last visit it was a light peachy color with no grit. The bottom bun on one of the burgers is burnt. I don’t have patience to bare with you as you work out kinks, $30+ for 2 burger meals is not forgiving. There was no value in today’s visit. I will not try to rationalize why my experiences with you have been low quality in an effort to trick myself into future visits. No.

Opening day after the ice storm in the area appeared to go smoothly. My online order was waiting for me on the shelf right on time, and several team members greeted me in the parking lot and inside the restaurant. I’m very excited that Freddy’s has finally come to Waxahachie!

I’ve never heard of Freddy’s so was curious when I saw the opened.
Pros: drive thru moves very quickly. The sides (Onion Rings, Cheese Curds) were pretty good. The Coffee Caramel Concrete with Heath Shake was really good too, I’d buy all of it again.
Cons: the actual entrees… were bland. The Chicken Club sandwich was pretty dry, but I feel that they’re still getting their footing since this place just opened. The California burger… was not good. At all. It didn’t taste like the burger meat was seasoned in the slightest and the lettuce/tomatoes tasted watery. The burger patty is paper thin and lacey, almost as thin as like roast beef sandwich meat. The thousand island dressing on it didn’t have much flavor either, it could use some mustard and ketchup. It tasted better after I added it but still. I’ll give them a few weeks and come back again and try a different burger for sure.

I went to this location last week ordered the bacon burger combo….the burger was salty, the fries were salty, also the fries tasted like they were fried in old oil, I couldn’t finish the fries I started feeling sick to my stomach.
