Terrible experience, how can you sell a burger for 14.00$ and send it without a bun. I am all for fare wages and pricing. But how do you make a burger without a bun??? And no it wasn’t requested like that! Very sad service!

Went there for lunch with our scout troop, they provided excellent fast and, courteous service with bright smiles! Absolutely wonderful staff. There were a good amount of people there, then we came in and there wasn’t a sign in that building which I loved. Thoroughly would suggest this Freddy’s location if your in the Emporia, Kansas area!

This is the 5th Freddy’s I’ve been to. I’ve tried other Freddy’s to try other dishes. Today, I came to this location just to try the burgers. I ordered a Double Original. I had tried a single before and it was horrible. At Freddy’s you HAVE to order a double just to taste the beef because they smash the burger patties so thin. I suppose some people like thin, crispy beef patties, but I am not one of them.
That also means you’re paying more $. A Double Original (with everything) cost me over $6. It was not worth it. “Everything” means sliced white onion, 2 pickle sandwich slices and mustard. The burger wasn’t good enough to justify the price. Another disappointing trip to a Freddy’s.
On a good note, the staff was quite friendly here. I wasn’t offered a receipt, which I always get to track my spending so that was disappointing. I suppose Freddy’s is a welcome addition to the variety of fast food options in the small city of Emporia, but not a place I would frequent. It’s fast food at sit down restaurant pricing.

My wife and I ate here on March 30, 2025 on our drive to South Padre Island. We both had the Prime Rib Steak Burger sandwich. And they were really great. Juicy, flavorful and stacked high with meat. My only complaint is that the sandwich tasted a bit salty. But otherwise it’s a fantastic meal.

Food was hot, fresh and very tasty! Now I eat a lot of salt, I mean a lot of salt! The fries were so salty I couldn’t eat them all. My son informed me it was his entire salt intake for a week , but they were hot . The bathrooms and the dining area were all clean. Staff was presentable and ready to head out for the day, may have been a busy day, everyone was still polite!

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but after this happening more than once I’m a bit frustrated. We order 1-2 times a month for delivery. Tonight I ordered 2 cups of cheese (for extra money) and didn’t receive it. Also they always put ice in the drinks even though it says “no ice” on order. We enjoy the burgers (just wish the bun would be a little bigger), my husband loves the onion rings, but tonight our kiddo only wanted cheese for her fries and didn’t get that to eat.
