We absolutely LOVE this place, always fantastic. It is one of our top 3 favorite fast service places. I love getting a soda float! The burgers are delicious and huge (smash style) and the fries are uniquely thin and crispy (best fries of anyplace I have been) kids meal was actually a decent size portion of everything. Cheese on the fries is always a win. The milkshakes are great, different choices. Everything is made in sight of consumer. Clean inside and in restrooms. It’s affordable and definitely worth going inside to eat your meal. Ask to get your ice cream after your food! Its way better than trying to eat everything at once.

Even for those who aren’t a fan of an extremely satisfying burger will surely be impressed with Freddy’s they also have options like hot dogs and chicken strips and sandwiches! Their custards are a bit like a blizzard style, thicker than there shakes and are a GREAT addition to your meal! The staff are helpful and friendly and the atmosphere will definitely feed your need for nostalgia! I personally recommend the bbq brisket burger and the prime rib burger!! I enjoyed a key lime custard and a root beer with my meal☺️

But I cannot say enough about the staff!!!! They always work so well together, they provide great customer service, they talk to us like we’re regulars even if it’s the first time we’ve met. Love watching them vibe.

Very clean restaurant, Great customer service. While we were waiting one of the workers came to bring my daughter a coloring page to keep her distracted. The manager came around the lobby to ask everyone how they were doing and thanked us for coming out. Food came out quickly but still very hot!! We only come to this location for good reason.

Nice place since it’s a new built location across Chesapeake General. Place looks crowded with tables and chairs. Too small for all the furniture there. Good service, but the kid in the counter got my order wrong. Manager tried to refund me with a gift card, but I declined. Canceled transaction then reordered. We got 2 orders of California double, one with chili fries and the other with onion rings plus two frozen custards (concrete) and 2 drinks. $45 plus. I should’ve just went to Red Robin if I’m spending that much. Anyway, burgers were smashed flat and in the salty side. The whole bite was good. Bread is almost too soft but it held everything together. Fries needs to cook for another minute and with the chili and cheese toppings, it got really soggy. Onion rings were good, but only seven. Not enough. The frozen drinks were really good, rich, creamy, and a bit too sweet for me. Overall, a bit better than fast food burgers but also a bit pricey for what you are getting.

Update – enjoyed our small chocolate shake, burger, crispy chicken club sandwich, and onion rings! Shake very rich, thick, and chocolatey. Love Freddy’s Famous Fry Sauce on the rings, savory and vinegary.

Service was very fast and efficient, price point wasn’t too bad either. Definitely love the burgers and fries they have, I got rained out while riding on the bike and this was a great place to stop in for a bite to eat. That same evening I brought the wifey in and she enjoyed it as well.

Second time coming here this week — I’m hooked! The California burgers are amazing and the sauce totally gives off In-N-Out vibes. Tried the custard shake today and it hit the spot. It’s technically fast food, but the burgers are on another level in terms of quality. Customer service is about what you’d expect, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely a new favorite!

The chicken sandwiches taste good but don’t really fill you up. The burgers are solid, but they leave me feeling awful after… like I can’t move for a while. The fries are super thin and you don’t get many of them. The custard is easily the best thing they make, but the portions are tiny for what you pay. It usually ends up being around $30 for two people, and that’s sharing a fry.

We ordered for delivery for my daughter’s birthday (it’s what she wanted) and the doordash driver forgot to grab the shakes. My wife quickly zipped over and grabbed them, but Kevin was absolutely amazing! When I called he explained they were in the freezer and the driver never spoke to anyone, he called back to see if we had gotten things figured with doordash because he wanted to make sure we got them, when my wife went to get them he saw the receipt in her hand while she was in line and got them right to her. This level of customer service has sadly become rare. Major kudos to Kevin!
