This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Not only do they have a beautiful restaurant with incredible food, they also took the time to cater our wedding for our cupcakes and wedding cake, and they were sooo good! Everyone at the wedding kept asking where they were from and said they needed to visit the restaurant to get more!! Hector and his family are the sweetest people! They’re so kind, thoughtful, and truly passionate about what they do. Not only is Hector an incredible chef, he also takes good care of his customers! He even makes sure my father-in-law’s cannolis are ready for him every time he stops by. We’re so grateful for them and can’t recommend Fratelli enough!

Chef Hector is my favorite chef. His food is always seasoned perfectly, every dish is well thought out. He is a master of his craft. Went down for my birthday with my wife. Staff helped me enjoy my birthday to the fullest, plus at the end Chef Hector came out, introduced himself and checked in on how everything was. This is what a true family restaurant is. We will be back.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This place was amazing. We haven’t gone since before Covid. It was good then but we learned tonight it has a new owner and Chef Hector did not disappoint. Our meal was unbelievable which started with an apple pie olive oil with bread as soon as we sat down which was so different yet so good. Chef Hector came out and checked on everyone and we couldn’t say enough about our meal. Our server Lauren was so sweet and so accommodating especially with my seafood allergy. She also spoke so highly of the owner Chef Hector which we love to see a place that takes care of their employees. We literally live in West Hartford Center and this place is better than all the Italian places here and best of all it was very reasonably priced. My wife and I talked about it the whole ride home. Small and intimate…a perfect date night. Longest review I ever wrote and this place deserves every word. We will be back soon. Definitely a hidden gem!
Update: Their Cakes are so good! Highly recommend!

This is our favorite restaurant. Hector, the owner and chef, was the head chef at Anthony Jacks before opening Flair Restaurant, both in Southington. His food and desserts are fantastic. He comes out and greets his customers to see how their meals are. It’s definitely a place where you will fall in love with, both for the food and atmosphere.

Really good flavorful Italian food, big portions and a good family restaurant. Great kids menu also. The best part is how fresh the pasta is and how good it all tastes. A hidden gem in southington for sure and family owned and operated which makes it that much better! Will go back again.

Eating here is an experience. It is nice to visit a family owned and operated restraunt; from the daughter who is the hostess to the son who is the waiter and the father who is the cook. This is a small restaurant and the chef makes everything to order. With that being said this is not a “quick bite”. Between an appetizer, soup/salad course, then entree we were there for close to two hours. We would have stayed for dessert but we were very full!
For an appetizer we got the friend calamari. The sauce and breading were good. Only critique is I wish the hot peppers were not breaded although I appreciated the ‘suprise’ of not knowing if I was getting fish or pepper, I was looking for something to lighten up the dish. The Ceasar salad and pasta fagioli were both not what I call traditional, but we’re both tasty bites.
For entrees we got the chicken parmesan and linguini with clams in a white sauce. Both servings were large (reasons we didn’t have room for dessert). The chicken parm was okay, not the best I have ever had, but I wasn’t mad at it either. The coating of the breading on the chicken parm could have more uniform (in my opinion). The pasta was cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce had good flavor.
The luigini and clams was okay, again not the best I ever had but it is exactly what the dish entails. The pasta was cooked beautifully, the quantity of whole clams was ideal; however to me the sauce was a little thin, it had so much flavor, I wish the sauce was thicker so it would adhere more to the linguini for a more flavorful bite.
Overall positive experience. I liked the waiter was attentive without being annoying. He brought us multiple pitchers of water without being asked to.

Such an amazing place, the cranberry chicken was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. And the chocolate cake! I highly recommend this authentic, family owned restaurant.

Food here is great but the service is not.
My husband and I went tonight and we were basically ignored except for taking our order and delivering our food.
We tried to pay the bill for 20 min.
Every employee walked by our table with the credit card very obviously out.
It was not busy. I would understand if it was busy.
We ended up just finding enough cash to pay and just walked out.
Hopefully they work on their service so it matches the food.
I will be unlikely to return due to the level of poor service.
Might get take out bc the food really is phenomenal.
Sad.

I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more – truly five stars all around. Hector & Christine were so lovely & provided such great service that I will be back whenever I visit Connecticut again. The service & food were amazing; my coworkers & I were impressed with everything.
I will say, the portions are HUGE, so come super hungry!! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thanks for such a wonderful time!!
