We just tried Fratellis in Luling!
This place was so romantic and cozy. The restaurant was dimly lit, with high ceilings and a mix of classy linen clad booths and tables. Classic Italian hits and jazz played from the speakers at a low volume, making it sensory friendly. The menu was packed with authentic Italian cuisine and steakhouse staples.
We were delighted by the generosity and hospitality of the family that runs Fratelli’s. We were served Lemon Marscapone cake, in which the sponge was moist and the icing superb. My spouse ordered a glass of the Due Torri pinot noir, and remarked about the freshness and quality of the red wine. Together, we ordered a 12” pepperoni pizza and a plate of chicken fettuccine alfredo. The pizza had a generous portion of cheese and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection, and the pasta sauce was creamy, velvety, and flavorful. Overall, the experience was pleasurable and delightful. This is a huge slept on gem in the Luling area. We would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a romantic evening out, or even a quick bite to eat. Fratelli’s will honor and exceed any occasion.

Ordered cheese sticks. They were ok. Needed salt. Are the rolls supposed to be pretty hard? Also ordered a sampler, too salty, and the Chicken Primavera was decent but needed a little more sauce and less oil. I did ask them to change the sauce from the pink to the Alfredo, which they did at ordering. I was glad they were able to do that.

I went here for lunch to give them a try based on the sparkling reviews, and let me tell you, they are justified. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The waitress was extremely attentive and checked on us multiple times. The bread and olive oil they give you to start is addictive. The Crawfish and Shrimp Fettuccine was dynamite! So was the Caesar salad and Calamari I ordered. Lastly, they even gave us a piece of delicious cheesecake on the house. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. If you are in the Luling area, give them a try!

The veal was good but the lemon butter sauce needed some finessing. More acidity. The angel hair was way passed al dente so if that bothers you pick another pasta choice. Service was good atmosphere was charming. I’ll go again with a more informed idea of how to order.

What an amazing dinner here! Shrimp, clams, and muscles over angel hair pasta bathed in red sauce with a nice bottle of red wine to complement. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waiter Matt was amazing, attentive, and well focused on our wonderful evening experience. The bread and dipping oil was perfect to start with. It was well-balanced for the warm, fresh bread. Shrimp scampi was on point as well. I honestly can’t say enough about my first visit here. I love Italian food and everything was perfect tonight. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. Thank you, Fratelli’s for making my evening amazing! Thank you for switching my dish out to a red sauce! Thank you for your recommendations!

don’t recommend. the food was not good, my spaghetti tasted like the cheapest jar sauce you could buy. servers aren’t great (coming from someone in the service industry and i give grace to everyone) but they don’t check up on you and take a while even with an empty restaurant. we came 3 times and had a different server each time and none were good, like at all. some people just aren’t made for serving and i think they all came here. will not be back.

We decided to try Fratelli’s today and let me say….they did not disappoint!
For our appetizer, we got the Side Pink Sauce with Homemade meatballs….delicious.
Mark had Chicken Parmigiana (the marinara sauce was excellent as it wasn’t a heavy taste) and I had Chicken Madomia (the creamy alfredo sauce was the best I’ve ever had). Both were some of the best Italian dishes we’ve had!
We took our server Addison’s advice and tried the Lemon Marscapone and surprisingly it was a lighter lemony taste that I did not expect as it wasn’t too tart!
Definitely will be going back again and trying other menu entrees!
Addison was on point keeping up with us and what we asked for so try getting seated with her!
