As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

Poor Leadership, UNPROFESSIONAL and They make up there own rules regarding pay. Inbox me for full disclosure of my experience with this company. This is what it looked like when I arrived. Food not wrapped up and put away in a cooler while roaches “were” actively crawling around. Ultimately, I ended up being scammed out of the job opportunity I was already at to not be trained or paid correctly or even given my last check on time. (Im not going to hold my breath to see if I’ll receive it at all.) Many people are missing a check as I type right now. I’m done with them, I hope karma gets the owners. I’m blessed anyhow.

I came to the drive and ordered a large fry. I got to the window and ask the cashier first was the fries fresh. She told me yes and asked for my money. I paid her and she handed me the fries. The fries were old, hard and greasy. I gave them back and told her to please cook them fresh and that I would park and walk to the pickup window. I parked my car and walked to the pickup window and the manager met me there and quickly handed me fries and closed the window in my face. Now I’ve been totally understanding because I asked for fresh fries and offered to walk up to pickup window, which I did. Only to still get greasy hard, hot fries. Not fresh! This is so rude and lazy because I’m at the window, WHY DO I FEEL LIKE I HAD TO BEG FOR FRESH FOOD! I then asked for a refund and they left me at the window for 12.6 minutes for my money back! No sorry, still hungry!

I ordered the #4 and the #6 from the Northport location. The chicken tenders look like they had been refried 3x and the burger bun was hard. This type of service at night is unacceptable because in the daytime everything is fresh! I will be returning the tenders tomorrow

I visited checkers on Nov. 1st @1pm with several orders for me and co workers. We all had the same thing and neither of our meals is up to par to even want to think about eating. The sandwich is super cold from the meat to the bread and also the chicken bites are cold and hard, I haven’t had checkers in years and I see why. The service sucks! Very disappointed!

We ordered Big Buford combos. They were double cheeseburgers with everything except onions. They came with those seasoned fries which are great and some large drinks even though we asked for medium. We ate outside in the cold and wind. That was a trip! Food was hot and delicious. I didn’t take pics because it was too damn windy.

I just finished a mobile order. I love the Mobile order experience and speed. By the time I got there everything was ready. The food was decent. However there were a few issues. There were no lights on other than inside and at the speaker. The whole lot was dark. There was a car parked in the lot, right beside the front. It wasn’t in a space, so I had to go around and they were right in the middle, so it was awkward. It looked like they were all standing at the front of the restaurant chilling and maybe even talking to the employees. The employees were short. The girl told me to pull forward and kept saying here you go and shoving stuff at me while I was trying to put drinks down. The guy gave me the bag without saying anything. I had to ask if that was it, and he said yes. The fries were too salty. Everything else was decent.

It seems like there is only one or two people in this location keeping speed and courtesy.
The location is often closed between 9-10 pm, with there being only one employee taking the time to clean up when there were more not even a couple hours before.
There have been many times where my order is wrong, along with an inconsistent wait time where when there is less business i have to wait longer.

It’s Checkers! Of course I was there for the fries, and they were WONDERFUL. Even with it being a hot and sticky night (with employees attempting to find relief outside as I pulled up). I was greeted enthusiastically and promptly by BOTH employees, as they apologized (unnecessary.) and did not skip a beat taking my order & having it ready in a snap. Friendly and my fries were EXTRA crispy. Did not make to the house.

Second review: After multiple trips I had concerns about the temperature of the meat being served. I revisited this same location on a Saturday. You should be aware that the owner or someone representing the owner contacted me following my post. My earlier review can be seen below. To my amazement, on my most recent trip, the cheese in the cheeseburger was melted and the meat patty was hot and juicy. For this reason I am upgrading the stars in my initial review. The internal temperature of food is an importance aspect of food safety. It must always be taken seriously.
First review: I apologize in advance for this harsh review. After several trips one consistent fact is the meat patty and bun are never served hot enough to melt the cheese. I find the temperature of the meat served to me disturbing. Are precooked burger patties being stored at unsafe temperatures or is refrigerated cheese lowering the temperature of once hot patties? There is no way for a consumer to know. Many of my coworkers have similar temperature complaints and will no longer eat at this location. They feel that it is unsafe. I can only hope that this review will inspire someone to investigate the temperature of the cheeseburgers being served before the company loses additional business or someone becomes ill. I will revisit this location within the next 30 days to see if anything has improved. If so, I will reevaluate this review. Until then there are a multitude of burger joints nearby which serve hot delicious food to the hungry masses.
