Amazing owner and workers. So helpful And made me feel like I was at a restaurant being waited on. After surgery, I have not been able to eat, and I saw their homemade Italian wedding soup and thought to give it a try. I ate the entire bowl and got a court to bring home. My friend got a regular slice and some cheese knits that were also delicious. The food and the people there are great,.To know they’ve been there for over 40 years and using authentic recipes I encourage anyone to try whether you’re in the area or not!

This is the kind of business that stands the test of time. Fratelli Ristorante & Pizzeria in Bay Shore has good food, but what really makes it special is the people. Everyone is so friendly, thoughtful, and detail-oriented.
We went for pizza and I bought soup to go for me, with my husband and my daughter. They actually asked which slice my daughter was going to eat so they could warm it up a little less, so it wouldn’t be too hot for her. I thought that was so nice and so thoughtful — I didn’t even think about it myself. And when I ordered my soup to go, they kept it warm for me.
Another time we went, they offered my daughter a candy cane. They’re just genuinely kind and personal. It honestly feels like going to your grandparents’ house to eat — that warm, family-friendly feeling that makes you want to go back all the time.

I’ve been going to Fratelli Pizzeria for over 20 years, and it remains my favorite go-to spot for classic pizza. The quality and flavor have been consistently excellent throughout the years. The pizza has a perfect crust, generous toppings, and a delicious sauce that never disappoints. I always make sure to order a side of their garlic knots as well—they’re the perfect complement to the pizza, with a flavorful, buttery, and garlicky finish. Fratelli Pizzeria is a cherished favorite, and I highly recommend it for anyone craving a reliably great pizza experience.

John and Vinny were so sweet to me and my friend who came in for lunch today. They were so attentive, caring and kind. I learned they’ve been in business for 49 years ! And John uses his mothers recipes from when he was a boy. Food was so delicious, I’m so full !

I grew up on Long Island but now live out of state. My husband and I came back to the Island to see my step mom who had just had a stroke. She was in the hospital just down the street from Fratelli’s. It had been a long day, and frankly not a good one. My step mom was not doing well. When we found Fratelli’s, it was late. We just wanted to a slice of pizza and get to our hotel. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly. They sat us in the back where they had all been eating, as it was close to closing time for them. They took our order, and we began conversing. We told them why we were in town. They showed compassion and care, in addition to serving the best pizza we had had in a very long time! As we sat in the dining room with them, it felt like family. It was comfortable. Not only was the food fantastic, the atmosphere was almost like being home. I don’t get to Long Island very much anymore, but that visit reminded me that Long Islanders are good people, people who care about others. The owners of this pizza parlor (as we used to call these little family-owned restaurants) know how to treat people. They serve you good tasting food with care. Thank you to the owners and those working that day. It has been a little over a year since that night, but I still think about our experience at a little family-owned pizza place in Bayshore, Long Island.

First time eating food from this establishment and I ordered through Uber Eats. I was a little hesitant because of my last two experiences ordering from two different pizzerias in Bay Shore whereas I ordered calzones and pizza. They weren’ very good experiences and I didn’t want a three-peat. I ordered two calzones, one with pepperoni and one with meatballs. Unfortunately, I didn’t get meatballs in one f the calzones and I got Italian sausages which I specifically didn’t want and a large neopolitan.
Despite the error of giving me Italian sausage the calzone was really good. The calzone was packed with an even amount of ricotta and mozzarella and just the right amount of sausage. I emphasis that as I had just ordered from another pizzeria a few weeks ago and the calzone was disgusting, in look and in taste. This pizza was made well and it also had ample and equal amounts of sauce and cheese. It was flavorful. The pizza dough was baked just right and the pizza wasn’t greasy or soggy. I think the prices are competitive and actually worth it. Some places have charged $ 10 more for the same size pie. I would certainly order from here again and recommend it as a really good pizzeria.

Best pizza place on Long Island and that’s saying a lot because I am very picky with pizza. They spend the money on good cheese so you don’t get that extremely greasy pizza. Better than any chain pizzeria on Long Island. I drive 35-40 minutes just for their pizza. Their garlic knots are top tier as well! Great people running this business. I cannot recommend enough.
