I placed an order a month ago to pick up a smoked turkey and sides to pick up the day of Thanksgiving. Confirmed it 2 days prior to Thanksgiving as well.
My husband went to grab the food and was told they are all out the medium turkey we ordered so they gave us a large instead …great free upgrade right….wrong the turkey we got was so overcooked and dry and basically burned (see pictured from our turkey from them last year vs this year) …its appalling! He was then told they dont have our full order of cornbread so they gave us a pack of store bought Hawaiian rolls instead
I have never encountered a restaurant who offers catering and then you go and pick up the food but they cannot fill your catering order makes no sense…why offer catering! Definitely ruined our Thanksgiving will be going back to Babykays next year instead …it worth the longer drive!
Edit: I saw there was a response from the owner but looks like it was deleted. Sir, thank you for the offer but honestly it would have been fair if we were not charged or reimbursed for the overcooked turkey. The cornbread wasnt that big a deal it was just frustrating to have placed an order and to be told we ran out this and that on the day of pickup….not sure how you run out of an item when you have an order placed for those items a month in advance….
I haven’t eaten inside Frasher’s yet, but the location is super close—and after tonight, I’m sold. My roommate was so hyped to get our order home that he spilled some of the Coke in the rush. No worries though—he cracked open a Manzanita Sol to handle the spice. Water just wouldn’t cut it.
The barbecue? Delicious. Smoky, tender, and gone in minutes. But the pizza? That’s where Frasher’s really shines. I used to work at Mellow Mushroom, and this was easily one of the most unique pies I’ve ever had. Bold flavors, perfect crust, and toppings that actually made me pause mid-bite to appreciate what was happening.
The staff were awesome—super friendly and clearly proud of their food. One even suggested scrambling the leftovers with eggs for breakfast. Cute idea, but let’s be honest: there won’t be any leftovers.
If you’re nearby, don’t sleep on Frasher’s. Fast service, killer food, and a pizza that’ll stick in your memory.
To kick things off, I tried the Peach Daily cocktail—absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start the meal! The menu had so many tempting options, but I ended up going with the 2-meat combination plate, featuring some of the most tender and flavorful BBQ I’ve had in the Valley. I paired it with the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the Roast Corn, and I can confidently say it was a meal that hit all the right notes. Everything was cooked to perfection!
Fraser’s Smokehouse truly delivers some of the best BBQ around. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their incredible menu. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving fantastic BBQ in a welcoming setting!
Food is just meh. Edible, but not a BBQ joint I would visit again. Nearly devoid of any smoke. Serving size is embarrassingly small, and the catfish was lacking in flavor in the coating, and it was mush, it was so overcooked.
Three houses sauces: original, sweet, and spicy. Original is heavy on Rosemary, and neither the sweet not spicy is anything to write home about. Wife sent her sweet tea back saying it tasted bad.
Sides: green Chile Mac and cheese was bearable. Garlic mashed potatoes were bland, could and pasty. Not even my teenager would eat them. Cole slaw with the catfish had possibilities. Loved the veggie mix, nice cut. But it had an almost blue cheese flavor. I love blue cheese, but it ruined the slaw. Tartar sauce was basically mayo with a squirt of relish. Hush puppies were by far the best option, but could have tolerated more seasoning.
It was pretty dead at around 6pm when we were there. Confusing entrance on the south side. We approached from the east, which makes you walk past a smoker or other cooking device, and makes you feel like you’re going through the kitchen when you enter from the south side front door.
It’s a little dark. Seats aren’t all that comfy as someone else noted. And there is no sense of arrival. You just kind of walk into a bar area. Outdoor patio area was decent.
Service could use some work. We started with one guy who seemed a little out of place. But he was later replaced by a young lady who did fine. Not super attentive for the lack of customers, but we weren’t ignored either.
Tolerable. But a one and done.
