We had our wedding at Fraser’s. the Service was very nice and quick. The canapés were very nice as well, so was the dessert. For the main meal one of the guest had a bug on the plate and I had an almost raw steak. After changing the steak, it was burnt. The potatoes on the main tasted old; like cooked potatoes you have in the fridge for some days and then heated up. For a meal that costs $ 115.00 (plus an upgrade for $ 19.00) it was quite disappointing.

Dined in the upstairs function room for a work event. When we entered, the curtains were drawn, so I thought the room was pleasant, but average. Then they opened the curtains. My goodness, the views across King’s Park to the city were simply breathtaking. It instantly livened the room up and you realised you were dining somewhere quite special. The wait staff did a fantastic job at keeping the drinks flowing and serving our food and the chef/s are to be applauded. The food was top quality, cooked to perfection, and truly delicious. The dance floor was made good use of and a wonderful day was had by all.

As we are not big eaters, we chose to share. We had the beef croquettes, which was a taste sensation and the yellow fin tuna tartare, also amazing. The saffron risotto was nice. We topped off the meal with the cheesecake, which was creamy and delicious.

We had croquettes for entre was really nice. The chicken breast main meal was fantastic. The onion ring sides were the best onion rings we’ve ever had – they were really thin and unique.

We had dinner with group of 10 and everything was great. We shared T bone Steak (see the picture) which was great. Fish dishes are generally good. Big fan of their focaccia and humus and fish tartare. The vegetarian/ vegan option if beetroot felafel was below average and not recommended.

I haven’t been here in years and i was pleasantly surprised. We went for lunch. The food was pretty good. The fries were nice and crispy and fatty. The oysters were fresh. The beef carpaccio was okay. The cocktails were outstanding. The service was a little slow/inattentive. Sitting inside is far more comfortable and you still get an amazing view. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I will definitely go back because I love the view.

Two of our party had the soft shell crab and raved about it. The servings for each dish were just right and nicely spaced between courses to give us appetite and expectation for the next course. We dined in the courtyard and the atmosphere and setting plus the attentive wait people made for a relaxing and very pleasant experience. Well done
