Delicious pizza pie. The sweet sauce is a staple of Philly! If you’ve never had it, you’d better check it out. Guarantee you’ll be coming back!

What a pleasant surprise – I didn’t realize Franzone’s had two locations, my GPS took me here to their sports bar and wow did it give off some good Philly vibes. Not to mention that pizza was amazing per usual. The buttery crust, the sweet sauce. The pie was incredible. AND there’s parking. Going back for sure.

When I visit Philly a #1 must for me is to go to eat Franzone’s pizza with the sweet sause. I have never had such an amazing pizza. When we were in Philly in May, we actually went here twice and then asked if we could buy some of the sauce to bring it home to another state we live in. Truly the best pizza of my life and I have to go there at least once or more when I visit Philly. I would fully recommend this place, their food is amazing & the atmosphere is relaxing. Great place!!

We picked up two large pies.
The plain pie: The sauce was a bit sweet, which I’m not used to, but it actually blended nicely with the cheese and crust. The crust was solid and the bottom wasn’t soggy—really good overall.
The Greek pie: It was okay. A little dry, not much cheese, and kind of overloaded with toppings.
We also got the pizza fries: This was our least favorite. They were mushy, and I couldn’t really taste the fries (it just didn’t come together well).

First time I ever had pizza with a *sweet* sauce and it did not disappoint. Now, it’s my favorite pizza in the Philadelphia area, and I want to go back at least once a month. The gentleman who served us was great, too. Oh, and the wings…the wings were so good. Can’t wait to come back!

My family and I stopped here on a cold Saturday evening for a late dinner after 9pm. The bar area was busy and loud (as one would expect on Saturday night), but there were tables available in the back room area by the to-go drink coolers. The dining room wasn’t the cleanest, but the servers were friendly and helpful. They were quick in taking our order and checked on us after bringing our food. The kitchen made a mistake on a part of our order, but the waitress took care of it for us quickly. The meat on the cheesesteaks was a bit overcooked and dry, but everything was fresh, especially the lettuce and tomato on our food, and my daughter’s salad. We had fried pickles as an appetizer and they were really good, as were the large bowl of french fries that we had. We also shared a chicken parmesan sandwich which was really tasty, with my wife really liking the sauce on it. All in all, a good late dinner at a casual Italian restaurant.

Outdated interior, makes it feel unclean. I never met anyone working here that was friendly enough to smile. On top of this, I was told they are no longer accepting clipper coupons, after charging 17-30 for a pizza. You should consider treating your repeat guests with the frequent customer punch cards or something.
