We have been trying to hit Franky’s since it opened but our schedules never overlapped until today. When we saw it open, we jumped at the chance. Frankenstein has a strong reputation. The colorful exterior points to plentiful parking. There are a few spots right in front but more in the lot next door.
The interior is small. The two tables signal it is primarily a take-out joint. Nice decor. Clean, bright and organized. The is a counter anchored by a small refrigerator display case that serves as the “delicatessen” but this is a sandwich/pizza to go operation. A variety of pizza by the slice is easily visible to walk in customers. I was disappointed that they didnt offer muffulettas, there was plenty of mortadella in the display case. Sandwich orders are passed to the kitchen. The sandwiches were ready in 10 minutes.
The sandwiches were excellent. The buns were high quality and fresh. The meat and cheese was thin sliced. I ordered a Cuban-Italuan. The peppers were not hot but tastefully. We got a slice of vegetarian white pizza to go, but they did not offer classic “California White Pizza”.
Other shelves and freezers offered CockEye ice cream and a small variety of imported Italian condiments. But Jimmy’s on Youngstown’s Belmont has nothing to fear.
All said and done, we liked Franky”s. The food was good, very good. But pricey. $31 for two sandwiches and a small slice should get something special and our food was good but not special. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or refer the joint. But I probably won’t go out of my way to make it happen.

The best pizza in the area for sure! Thick crust but light and airy. My fave is the chicken bacon ranch, the chicken is legit I normally am funny about other people’s chicken bc it’s such low quality but this is real chicken cooked and seasoned well. All their pizzas have massive amounts of toppings, you definitely get your monies worth. Bonus homemade ranch and it’s top tier! If you haven’t tried it yet you are missing out .

My husband and I love the pizza at Franky’s. I seen an add on Facebook that they had Beef and ricotta ravioli. So we ordered two orders and got home now on the way home we were smelling these and omg they smelled so good. We got red sauce and ranch for dipping. Man oh man are these ravioli delicious. Franky’s you out did yourself again. The spices on these are just perfect and the stuffing is just right. Very good and filling. Oh you get 8 in the order for $7.99 that’s a good deal.

Pizza was delicious and the sandwiches were huge. Only two tables inside so more of a carry out joint. Check this place out if you’re in Warren.

In my opinion one of the best places to get a pizza in the area! I’ve never had a bad pizza everything is solid and consistent highly recommend getting the red white and green! I also appreciate that they sell pizza by the slice not many places do that in the area and a lot of times I don’t want to order a whole pizza. That’s the main reason why I think that Bruno’s,sunrise, and Frankys are some of the best in the area. For selling by the slice! On top of how good their pizza is they’re definitely reasonably priced. You can get a large pizza for around 20 bucks which is local and better quality than any fast food that cost honestly the same price anymore!

Went for lunch and was not disappointed.
Vibe is so cool, you’d think this place was in the neighborhood for 80+ years.
Got sandwiches and apps. Fried Ravioli was by far the best thing we bought
We tried some of the Italian ice they had in their cooler and it was amazing as well
We will definitely go back and highly recommend you try it!!

My friend randomly picked this place after a competition at the high school. Lots of good reviews led us to believe it was solid. Was not disappointed. Cuban Italian really hit the spot

Don’t walk. Run to Franky’s Pizza and Delicatessen. It’s an absolute gem! The pizza was saucy with creative toppings and choices. It’s a sicillian (thick square style pizza). They offer pizza by the slice, so walk right up if you want to. The sandwiches are absolutely killer; served on giant homemade sandwich rolls. You gotta put this place on your list to try.

Three out of four times when I’ve ordered pizza only the middle has toppings. Nearly 1/3 of the pizza, an inch at least around the edges is nearly bare. Tonight I ordered extra cheese, which was an additional three dollars. You will observe the photo of what the pizza I received.

This is very frustrating and I don’t plan to return for quite some time. I was informed at the counter the chili crunch oil was tripled in price from $1 a cup to $3.50; so, the establishment is asking more from it’s customers but they’re not giving more. This is very frustrating.
