Family owned restaurant. HOME MADE tortilla, salsa, and beans. Good food. Fair prices. They have lunch and happy hour specials. They were willing to accommodate me with my special diet. The margaritas were a good pour. Everything was fresh and homemade.

We’ve been living here in Prescott for about a year and a half now, and this was our 1st time here. Coming from Texas there is a certain standard when it comes to Mexican food, and after trying other places in the area that were good, this place totally exceeded expectations.
There is a very hometown feel when you walk in. Extremely friendly staff (whom are all family) with very pleasant welcoming smiles on all their faces, as if they were genuinely happy to be there to serve you.
From the chips n salsa, fresh guacamole to our main dishes of shredded beef burrito enchilada covered with Mole sauce (not pictured due to the total annihilation administered by my wife) to my super flavorful Menudo “w/patas” (other places give you ridiculous amounts of bones when you order it with patas, but nope not here.. so much meat!) this place is a true hidden gem where we will happily go back to support this family business.

The Fajita Meal for Two was delicious! The meats and peppers were incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned.
also ordered flawless Cadillac Margaritas. The perfect pair with the fajitas.

Seated promptly, decent food and very generous with the meat, although Carnitas are kinda greasy and no cheese on anything? Average margaritas, Salsa is very good, but only given a small bowl of chips and are charged for more? Friendly attentive service, prices typical… Room is very bright and lots of gnats. Didn’t qualify as our Go To Mexican restarante.

We used to love Mayas. But today was the most unpleasant experience. We ordered nachos and margaritas for Cinco De Mayo and we got a plate full of a soggy mess. It was uneditable. To make it worse, we were not checked on once and had to go up and ask for our bill.

We are very picky about Mexican food, and my husband is more picky than I am and loved the carne asada tacos. I got the chilaquiles con huevos, and it was amazing! Fresh Spanish rice and refried beans that tasted fresh. The sauce did not taste canned to me. We happened to go there because the restaurant Nextdoor was very packed, and this was a wonderful surprise. We will be back.

Definitely the best Mexican we’ve had in the area. Right off the bat, the salsa was such amazing flavor! I got the carne asada tacos and not only was the flavor great, they were bigger than burritos I’ve had elsewhere. Wife had the fish tacos, again really huge, but not as tasty as the carne asada….till she put the salsa on it, lol! Really good place, great prices, and lots of choices. Will definitely be back!

The water they served was like toilet water.
The salsa was out of a jar. Tasted like pace. No original hot salsa either. Definitely Americanized.
The tostadas were so thick , and the soft tacos lacked greatly.
The young server aimed to please , but he made mistakes.
I was disappointed in the food, not very authentic .

Hidden gem! We wanted a good meal after hiking all afternoon. Walked here from our hotel on Whiskey Row. Simple atmosphere but delicious food. Shared fajitas and an appetizer. Had a nice crowd of obviously locals as staff greeted them warmly and by name. Wish Mesa had a Frank’s!

Franks place is awesome. The food the atmosphere. This place is better from the previous one. Plenty of parking. The only bad thing is that i cant order everything on the menu. For starters i had carne asada nachos and then I had chilaquiles and a chile relleno.
Service was great. This place rocks.
