Our shrimp is pulled directly from the fresh GULF waters and delivered right to our door. We then season them perfectly, bread them lightly, and fry them for a clean fresh taste! Amazing fried shrimp Chicago style!
I ordered my Christmas Eve, fried shrimp, and fish chips. From the minute you walk in the door, everyone was so friendly. from the young man behind the counter taking the payments to the workers frying the shrimp and the fish, super nice. I got there a little earlier and I know they weren’t ready for me because it was my fault when you say 1 o’clock you should be there at 1 o’clock not 12:35. They were so nice about it. They got my order done within 10 minutes and I was out the door.
If you’ve never had Frank’s Chicago style shrimp they’re so amazing and the fish chips were so moist and fresh.
I would highly recommend Frank’s Chicago style shrimp, hands-down.
They are definitely one of Chicago’s best

Frank’s Bar, in Lincoln Park, on Clark Street, will always be missed 🙁 A true staple of the neighborhood. Thank you for all the wonderful late-night memories, over the decades. The L.P. area did not need more high-rise condos that badly.

The Chicago style shrimp is the move. Got a quarter pound of it and the regular should have got all Chicago style. Got some fried zucchini too which was excellent! Extremely hospitable and delicious food! Honestly the best shrimp I’ve ever ate!

The most kind staff ever! They had a system error with online orders and made it a priority to make my order when I arrived.
Got the regular style and Chicago style shrimp and was shocked at the size of the shrimps! HUGE!!! The catfish strips were also very flavorful. I definitely recommend checking this place out. (Please note, that’s not how many shrimp you get with an order. I took it after I started eating them )

This spot was so good! Came on Good Friday and even writing the review I wish I was going back already. It is a small place that does get busy, but 100% worth the wait or at least order for pick-up. Fresh sea food and love their hot sauce! Food was hot and fresh, fries and calamari was crunchy. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Chicago-style shrimp dinner and my husband had the catfish. Both were cooked well, but unfortunately, they were completely unseasoned and very bland. There was no flavor at all, and even the hot sauce and tartar sauce didn’t make it any better. Honestly, it’s not worth paying for, anyone could make something better at home.
