Here at Frank’s we only serve wild caught GULF Shrimp. Shrimp allowed to thrive in their natural environment have a higher quality taste than farm raised shrimp. Our shrimp is pulled directly from the fresh GULF waters and delivered right to our door. We then season them perfectly, bread them lightly, and fry them in 100% vegetable oil for a clean fresh taste! We have the highest standards for our shrimp and it shows in the end. Everything is always super fresh, the staff is friendly and they always have my order ready if I call ahead. The fish chips are my favorite, as well as the regular shrimp. It’s never overloaded with breading which is a major plus and the prices are not bad considering local fish prices in general. Excellent fast food/ seafood place

I have never had a bad experience here. The seafood is always fresh and tasty. I usually order ahead, they ask when I will be there and the food is pipping hot. I grew up in the city and Franks was one of my dad’s favorite spots to get Chicago Shrimp and I was so happy when I moved out here and found a Franks near me. Never disappointed.

We used to love Red Lobster, but Frank’s Shrimp House spoiled us to the point that we have not been back to Red Lobster — and that was over 10 years ago.
The jumbo fried shrimp is so beyond everything else that, if you call it a ’10’ the next best fried shrimp I ever tried was barely a ‘7’.
Their breaded zucchini was also the best I ever tried.
The prices are shockingly low for a seafood restaurant.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The place looks nice and has a pleasant, themed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the service was good. However, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The fried shrimp had an unusual plastic-like smell — maybe the oil hadn’t been changed recently. I had to travel to Chicago for good Shrimp, I had a cousin who recommended this restaurant. Once I tried it, I was hooked. Now I visit 3 or 4 times a month. The staff is always so inviting and Customer focus. Once I inform them of crackers, they immediately know it’s me. The food was nothing to write home about. Too much breading on the shrimp, I think they double dipped in bread crumbs.By the time I peeled off the breading, shrimp were pretty small. Dons Dock in Desplaines is much better and have a much bigger menu, including jambalaya.

Franks has done us solid several years in a row for Christmas Eve with the family. I personally prefer the boiled over fried because it takes us awhile to serve and the breaded is really meant to eat right away. But you can’t go wrong
They will send you out in paper bags so have warming trays and serving spoons as well as labels for the different seasonings at the ready.

First time here. Ordered Jumbo Shrimp & Fish Chips for takeout. They were all decent. Everything was fried so it was a little greasy. I would return again to try other items on the menu
