Small shop no music but excellent food. Highly recommend!
It seemed like they decided to close early even though the posted hours said they were still open. Very unprofessional behavior and disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back unless management addresses this issue and makes sure staff follow proper closing.
I tried this place for the first time and honestly didn’t expect much, but the food was way better than I thought it would be. The burrito was huge, fresh, and full of flavor. You can taste that everything’s cooked with real ingredients, not that frozen or prepped stuff a lot of places use. The chicken was juicy, the rice had good texture, and the salsa actually had flavor.
The people working there were nice and seemed like they cared about what they were doing. The place itself is small and simple but clean and comfortable. It feels local in a good way.
The portions are big and the prices are fair. You definitely get your money’s worth. I’ve already told a few friends to try it because it honestly deserves more attention. If you’re in Dacula and want a good burrito that doesn’t taste like fast food, this is the spot.
Austin’s was one of our favvvv lunch spots for the past couple years. The only burrito spot we’d go. Almost always, it felt like the $20 burritos were worth the price. Only once in a while would we receive considerably smaller burritos, generally only after new staff was hired and it didn’t seem like they’d been fully trained possibly. But generally, it was like holding a newborn baby in burrito form. Massive, packed well, ingredients not all on one end or the other, so good.
In the last month or two, the burrito sizes have gotten soo much smaller. Not worth the price being charged anymore. My husband always gets carne asada, on one visit, his burrito had NO steak whatsoever! I had to drive back (after having picked up the order and driven home) to get a new burrito. His most recent burrito had 4 bites with steak. For a burrito that ends up being just over $20, that’s really unacceptable. This most recent burrito was also smaller than the normal roadie size, although he ordered a regular size burrito. My burritos always used to last me two meals, I never finished a full burrito in one sitting until a month or so ago. I’ve never been left hungry after eating a burrito until recently either. I should be in borderline pain after eating a whole burrito
Really hoping that portion sizes can get figured out and back to normal so that we can trust getting burritos from Austin’s again
