(FYI We are closed until March 23rd) We are an east coast style hot dog stand located at Forage Grove Food Hall and Tap room in Forest Grove, Oregon. Come see us and have a gourmet all prime beef hot dog, German Bratwurst, or Polish Kielbasa. We also have a variety of chili dogs. Plus we have over 35 condiments to choose from including Burnt Pineapple Mustard from Franko’s Mustards created by Portland Native Chef Leather Storrs. We look forward to seeing you! Drove out on a limb to check out this place after google said it was closed, but maybe open for takeout. It was a very welcome surprise to not only find it open but find great people around it.
Justin was very nice and friendly and so was another gentleman who was having a hotdog, along with his cute little Corgi. Service was excellent, as despite warning me that they were out of chili, Justin still managed to scrape every last bit of chili for my ‘German Cowboy’ dog, despite only taking payment for the ‘Superhund’, which is a version without the chili.
It was an absolutely loaded dog. The bun, the bratwurst, the sauerkraut, the chili and the shredded cheese went phenomenally well together. I was very very happy with my experience and the 25-30min drive was well worth it. I hear that they will have a location closer to me soon, and i am eagerly looking forward to it!!
Big Thanks to Justin (and his Uncle Frank after whom this stand was named). If it hadn’t been for their love of hotdogs, i wouldn’t have been able to enjoy such a wonderful treat!

These guys were down at Waltz for a music night, We tried each kind of dog they make and they were all great!! As far as hot dogs themselves go, these are the good ones, not like Costco, but quality meat! I highly recommend a German style bratwurst with grilled onions and sauerkraut, don’t forget to try Franko’s home made mustard.

Really cool spot next to the blue Herron mural in Forest Grove. Great flavor on the bratwurst and toppings. I recommend trying the house made pineapple mustard, you can also buy a bottle to go. The owner is super cool. I highly recommend stopping here if you in forest grove or on your way out to Hagg Lake.

Had the smoked hot dog special with the horseradish mustard. Decided to get half grilled onions and the other half sauerkraut so I could try both. Great flavor and better taste than off the store shelf saurkraut . Friendly service, and the dog had some real good flavor. Dogs are cooked to order, so it takes a few minutes. I need to try the chili dog next time. Said they are working on GF buns.

Well, it’s a food cart selling hotdogs in a gravel parking lot. So don’t expect a lot of atmosphere. Dogs were good. Chili was good. There were many options for toppings. Overall, it was a bit expensive. But if you want a dog and you’re in Forest Grove… It’s not a bad choice for a quick bite.
