We live on the most beautiful coast of Florida, surrounded by an amazing abundance of the freshest seafood on the planet, yet I could not find it available in any local restaurants. So I decided to change that. As a graduate of the Culinary Art School of Astoria, I have honed my cooking skills over many years to offer pared down, no frills, only the freshest seafood on the planet. No heavy coating, no over-seasoning, only simple, elegant flavor. From fresh Clams, Oysters, Shrimp, Lobster, Escargot, Grouper, Blue Crab, Stone Crab, Mullet, Mud Bugs, Scallops, Mussels, Piss-Clams (Steamers), and freshest catch of the day… I only serve the best, the freshest, and the most flavorful seafood available. If I won’t eat it…you won’t get it! Frankie

Fried mushrooms were burnt, the raw oysters were really good but shucked improperly. Same with the clams. Every belly was punctured. Also too much shell and grit in the oyster liquid. Simple fixes with proper training on how to properly shuck.
Also the blue crabs were really good but the Maryland style certainly isn’t Maryland style blue crabs.
Overall good experience. We will definitely be back, and told our friends about the place
Louder music would be nice on the days without live music
I had the grouper nugget lunch special, 1 lb of snow crab and 1 lb of stone crab
Anyway, I went to Frankie’s because a Co-worker recommended them for their Crabs, and my Co-Worker is from Maryland, so she knows Crabs. And can I tell you that Frankie’s is THE REAL DEAL when it comes to raw bars. – Great atmosphere, Friendly Staff, Live Music, and the food… well, let’s just say, I’ve found my home…. it was amazing – I had mostly raw bar stuff, and yes, they have Clams on the Half Shell. (Thank Goodness) I had a dozen clams, a dozen oysters, an order of the Oysters Rockefeller, and 2 crabs. and EVERY SINGLE ITEM was amazing. Very reasonable prices too. And just a heads up, this is a BYOB so if you want a beer or some wine with dinner you have to bring your own, which is great because it keeps the prices of your dinner down.
Finally, I found a real raw bar in Florida – Who would have thought it would be that difficult. Anyway, I’ll be going back over and over again to try the entire menu.
If you like seafood, this is your place, you won’t be disappointed.
Great work guys… Thanks.
My favorites were the boom boom shrimp and the cheese curds. The others liked their fish and chips, scallops, the crash grouper and the coleslaw.
