We live on the most beautiful coast of Florida, surrounded by an amazing abundance of the freshest seafood on the planet, yet I could not find it available in any local restaurants. So I decided to change that. As a graduate of the Culinary Art School of Astoria, I have honed my cooking skills over many years to offer pared down, no frills, only the freshest seafood on the planet. No heavy coating, no over-seasoning, only simple, elegant flavor. Frankie’s is a great place to go if you love seafood. It’s very casual; picnic tables and plastic forks. They don’t serve beer or wine, but you’re welcome to bring your own. I’m reluctant to order scallops because if they aren’t prepared correctly, they taste terrible. The seared scallops I got here were prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. Everyone was very friendly, too.

Visited to celebrate my mom’s birthday and was blown away by how great the food and service is. The fried shrimp dinner was by far the tables favorite. The grouper and fried oysters were fantastic. Chelsea was a great server and was very informative of the menu and to where the seafood was being sourced from. Def give this place a shot!

Hidden Gem!! We went with some friends of ours and were quite surprised with how great everything was. The service, the taste, the variety, and the atmosphere were all perfect. I had the trio which is triple tail, scallops, and shrimp. It was cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be back for the seafood boil sometime.

Fried mushrooms were burnt, the raw oysters were really good but shucked improperly. Same with the clams. Every belly was punctured. Also too much shell and grit in the oyster liquid. Simple fixes with proper training on how to properly shuck.
Also the blue crabs were really good but the Maryland style certainly isn’t Maryland style blue crabs.
Overall good experience. We will definitely be back, and told our friends about the place

I’ve lived in FL for about 6 years now, and one of the things I was excited about when moving here was the amount of fresh seafood I would have access to. However, for the 6 years I’ve been here, I’ve not been able to find Clams on the half shell in over 98% of the seafood restaurants I’ve been to. And I mean I’ve been to some BIG Places, like Catches, and Get Hooked and Whiskey Joes. Sure, they have Steamers, and oysters a plenty, but they don’t serve raw clams, and no one seems to know why. – How can you call yourself a raw bar and not have clams on the half shell.
Anyway, I went to Frankie’s because a Co-worker recommended them for their Crabs, and my Co-Worker is from Maryland, so she knows Crabs. And can I tell you that Frankie’s is THE REAL DEAL when it comes to raw bars. – Great atmosphere, Friendly Staff, Live Music, and the food… well, let’s just say, I’ve found my home…. it was amazing – I had mostly raw bar stuff, and yes, they have Clams on the Half Shell. (Thank Goodness) I had a dozen clams, a dozen oysters, an order of the Oysters Rockefeller, and 2 crabs. and EVERY SINGLE ITEM was amazing. Very reasonable prices too. And just a heads up, this is a BYOB so if you want a beer or some wine with dinner you have to bring your own, which is great because it keeps the prices of your dinner down.
Finally, I found a real raw bar in Florida – Who would have thought it would be that difficult. Anyway, I’ll be going back over and over again to try the entire menu.
If you like seafood, this is your place, you won’t be disappointed.

Im so happy I found this place! My husband and I decided to go ahead and give it a try and it did not disappoint. Loved the outside seating. The menu had so many selections so we had to try a few. We tried the blackened grouper tacos, the crab cakes, the fried plantains, garlic parm fries, conch fritters, the raw oysters, you peel it shrimp cold and the garlic butter shrimp. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. The service was good as well everyone was very nice. I would have took photos but the food came out looking so good I didn’t think about it until after we dug in.

Such a cute and nice place for lunch, gives off a Florida Keys vibe. Great and friendly service, and I love that I can bring my dog there and you can bring your own alcohol if you prefer.
My favorites were the boom boom shrimp and the cheese curds. The others liked their fish and chips, scallops, the crash grouper and the coleslaw.

This was an incredible place to eat. Was a perfect place to take my wife for her birthday. The decor was actually incredible and loved the zen garden in the back. You do sit out side but we had a wonderful experience. We had raw cherry clams. Middle neck clams and raw oysters. They were incredible. Also had something I had never had before sausage empanada. Looking forward to eating there again when we are in town.
