I ordered a Crispy Philly Chicken sandwich and it was a complete grease ball. I could not eat it. I called the manager and he told me to come in anytime and get it replaced. I went to have it replaced and they refused to replace because THEY didn’t write it down in the “errors” book. So I showed the cashier the pictures and the manager left it up to her to decide on replacement. She didn’t want to replace. She immediately began telling me they don’t replace etc. She then called the next manager and SHE SAID he refused to replace. It’s ok. I just know not to support businesses that don’t honor their errors and willing to risk their reputation for a $10 sandwich. The pictures tell the story. Beware!

Superb Chicago style foods. They serve the classics. Everything we’ve ordered has always come out piping hot and cooked to our desire. The service has always been great. No complaints. Restroom always smells like bleach which is great also. The restaurant is overall clean. Keep up the great work guys. Special thank you to everyone who’s involved with the daily operations. The first thing I noticed when my family and I walked in is it was unbelievably hot in there! There’s no shades on the windows and the setting sun just cooks everyone inside. There’s woman running the register was super nice. Truly the only good thing about this place. I ordered the Philly steak fries. It came out nothing like what it was supposed to be. No onions. No mushrooms. And some mystery while goop. I don’t know if it’s mayo or sour cream but whatever it is, it’s disgusting. The beef is terrible. It’s gristly and fatty. Absolutely terrible. My boyfriend ordered the tacos. He took two bites and threw them in the trash. They are absolutely soaked in old oil with the same tough beef as my fries. We’re tossing our dinner in the trash tonight. Very disappointed.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I ordered a Chicken Philly… took a bite and a long strand of hair was in my food. Completely DISGUSTED, I immediately called to let them know. By this time they were closing in about 10 minutes and didn’t answer. I then took pictures and threw the sandwich in the trash. I immediately called again the next morning (today) and they said they couldn’t do anything about it because I had thrown the sandwich out. Even though I had pictures AND my receipt. Disgusting!

The cheese steak was phenomenal and the fries were hot and crisp! Great tasting.
However, they use the styrofoam packaging without the paper liner. So to sample the food, I ate the steak and fries that wasn’t in contact with the foam (don’t laugh). Different restaurant by category and scale, admittedly, but McDonald’s phased out styrofoam all together. And that was over a decade ago.
I’ve been to other local, similar spots that take that extra step. Doesn’t seem much more expensive.

Had the Frankie special & Ribeye, food was fire but was greatly impressed with the attentiveness and great service that the lady at register offered, she was great! I ordered the Hoagie w/ fries and it tasted delicious! The photo doesn’t do it justice.
The reason I gave 4 stars was because of the service. When I ordered my meal I was given my receipt with a number on it. I sat down and waited for my number to be called but after 10 minutes it wasn’t called. When I walked over to the register my food was sitting there waiting. It would have been nice to have my number called for those who are sitting on the side inside the restaurant.

First and last time at Frankie’s in Hammond! I went in today ordered a chicken Philly and a Chicago style polish got a steak Philly steak instead! I called to let the manager know my order was incorrect I leave 30-35 mins away. The Manager tells me to drive back 30 mins to pick up the correct order so I would be driving an hour and 10 mins! Wow I will never go there again and just informed my family that was about to stop by what happened and they turned around and ordered elsewhere. Manager your customer service is horrible. Instead of stating I apologize for the inconvenience your next visit I will give you the chicken Philly you originally ordered. Word of mouth travels and I will definitely stop business for you.

The food was good when first opening but now it’s a hit or miss. The perch fish I had 5 days ago was greasy/soggy and today the chicken on pita should have been a chicken gyro that they said they don’t have was mostly lettuce and sauce. The chicken was unseasoned and it was just thrown together. I’m definitely disappointed and will refrain from ordering from there again

We drove from Schereville and was sorely disappointed. The cheesesteak was so greasy we couldn’t eat it and the pizza puff was dry! First and last time coming there! And the ad was for 2 pizza puffs and fries and I only got one pizza puff and fries. So the advertisement isn’t correct either. down on this establishment.
