Update: Finally got the chance to stop by again on my way back to Jacksonville! I can honestly say this place is gonna steal hearts for generations! From the welcoming atmosphere down to the authentic great tasting Chicago bite, my ranking still stands! Frankie’s Chicago beef is a must!!!! The food here is so good that I went for seconds. Not kidding, I ate the entire Chicago beef sandwich and then a Chicago dog. The service is friendly, welcoming and the restaurant has such a great vibe. Please check them out if you are in Palm Coast.

Good food. Inside Red Clover – walked in and it was so hot and yucky feeling. Definitely wouldn’t sit inside. So, took my food and left. I’d order again. I wouldn’t dine in side unless they cooled it off and kept it cool inside. Who wants to sit inside a small establishment and be hot!? Frankie’s gets the 5. Red Clover where it’s located doesn’t.

We ordered the Italian Beef Combo and the Chili Cheese Dog Combo, and both were fantastic. The Italian beef was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the chili cheese dog had just the right amount of heat and richness. The shoestring fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, making for an excellent side.
The atmosphere is another plus. European Village has a lively energy, often featuring live music in the center, which adds to the dining experience. On top of that, the service was excellent—the staff was friendly, and the owner even came by to check on us, which made our visit feel even more welcoming.
If you’re a fan of classic Chicago eats or just looking for a delicious and filling meal, Frankie’s Chicago Beef is a must-try!

I’ve been to BOTH Al’s and Mr. Beef in Chicago and raved about both those places for years. This place is legit right there with both of them. I haven’t been back to Chicago in over 15 years and still dream about those Italian beef sandwiches. Now I have them in my backyard. Run, don’t walk to this place. THIS IS A MUST TRY! You won’t be sorry.

Finally!!!! The east coast of Florida has an authentic Chicago Beef place!!! The right bread, tender juicy beef and authentic toppings! We had it dipped, sweet and hot and it was absolutely delicious! We also had the pizza. Let me tell ya, this was hands down the only equal to my favorite Chicago place. The thin crust, the sauce, the cheese, the spices… a combination I haven’t had in so long it was like heaven taking that first bite. And every bite after, actually.

We are always looking for new niche food places, especially tied to a particular state or city and we found Frankie’s on a random internet search and became interested. We watched their podcast and me and my wife packed up and headed down to their new brick and mortar restaurant. We walked in and they greeted right away and it felt like family. We went right to the authentic Chicago Italian beef dipped in Au Jus, including the entire sandwich. They asked how you want and we said just they way you would get in Chicago. We also ordered their fries and RC Cola. We were not disappointed, absolutely satisfying comfort food and no lack of the amount you get. This is what Palm Coast needs more of. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed. I hope I can get bast the beef some day and get to there other specialties like the Chicago hot dogs.
