We went to this restaurant for dinner, my boyfriend and I. We ordered a small Margherita and a medium Double Pepperoni, and we really enjoyed both. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy with the quality of the ingredients and how delicious the pizza was. We also appreciated the fast service.
We tried two desserts as well: the chocolate cake and the cannoli pie, and we loved them. We will definitely come back and add this place to our list of favorite restaurants.

Stopped in here after a very long workday and went the smart route by ordering online. I placed my order at 7:26 pm and it was ready around 8:50 pm, which on a Friday night is pretty much expected. This place was packed, buzzing with energy, clean, and nicely laid out.

The staff was friendly overall, but they could have been a bit more attentive. I stood there for a few minutes before being noticed. Nothing major, just worth mentioning given how busy it was.

Now to the food.
I ordered The Caprese with fresh and whole milk mozzarella, roasted marinated cherry tomatoes, garlic, pesto cream sauce, pecorino romano, and olive oil, plus added grilled chicken. The flavors were good and well balanced, but the pie itself was very floppy, which took away a bit from the experience.

Next was the Meatball and Ricotta. This one really delivered. Great flavor, nice crunch, creamy ricotta, and solid cheese pull. This was my second favorite of the night and a strong choice.

Finally, the Doppio Pepperoni stole the show. Spicy, crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. This was easily my favorite pie and the one I would order again without hesitation.

Overall, Frank Pepe still delivers quality pizza and is worth the visit. Just plan ahead, expect a wait during peak times, and be patient. There is plenty of parking outside, you just may have to circle a bit. Definitely recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Frank Pepe’s never disappoints! The pizza was absolute perfection — thin, crispy crust with just the right char, a flavorful sauce, and generous, perfectly cooked pepperoni. You can taste the tradition in every bite! The place had a great atmosphere, the staff was friendly, and service was quick even during the dinner rush. Definitely worth the hype — this is how pizza should taste! Can’t wait to come back again.

Delicious new haven style coal fired pizza, professional staff, comfortable seating.

The clam pizza was different but good. The Pepe salad was delicious.

Wow I don’t know why I didn’t try this pizzeria before. I went with my sister and niece to try their pizza and it was delicious. The crust very crunchy, the tomato sauce they use tastes homemade. The toppings are good quality and very flavorful. I can put this pizzeria on my fave top 5 in Stamford. The place is a chill spot to go grab a bite of pizza with friends or family. I do recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time at the Stamford location. They have a great outdoor patio dining area. We opted for indoor dining with air conditioning and have zero regrets.

Jessica was our server and she was wonderful. We wanted to try the clam pizza for the first time but were very nervous to order it in case we didn’t like it. Jessica told us if we don’t like it she’ll get us a brand new pizza so we ordered the clam pizza. As a seafood lover I did it find it very clammy tasting. There was tons of fresh garlic on a white sauce. We didn’t like it so we got a simple half plain cheese and half pepperoni. It was cooked to perfection! Great char and chewy thin crust! The flavors were phenomenal. Sometimes you just gotta go back to basics. We also got a sausage and pepperoni pizza. Sausage was tasty and not fennel heavy (I don’t like fennel seeds). You can ask for light, medium or well charred crust; we like ours medium.

Check out the Stamford location and ask for Jessica.

The pizza was very tasty, but the crust was too hard and brittle. It would be very awesome if the crust were cooked better, as everything else was fine. In a competitive area like Connecticut, you can’t afford to have hard crust.

We visited Pepe’s newest location in Stamford and were impressed at their consistency to the New Haven location, even as they’re just starting out. Our server did a fantastic job of checking up on us, and all of the pizzas came out quickly. Though the building is new and modern, it still maintains the charm we know and love from the original location. The pepperoni pizza was extra good! Fresh salad and great desserts as always. It’s great to know I can have the same Pepe’s experience I know and love down in Stamford!

We go to Newhaven pizza all the time and never have an issue but, when we go to Stamford which is so close to where we live they are taking short cuts on the clam pizza. We get our pizza with finely chopped clams and it’s awful over cooked and all! They are trying to save money by chopping up the clams instead of whole clams! Horrible and dried out! We will never go back. They need to do something about this!

Pizza is a major staple of my family, so we took the challenge to see what this beloved chain has to offer. I must say that we were impressed. We got the sampler (4 small pies) and enjoyed all of the selections. We rated them (most fav to least fav) Meatball, Bacon and onions, three cheese, and plain. Ambiance was nice. Service was good too. Coal oven pizza is definitely a great experience from the usual NY pizza (still prefer but still a good selection). Their soda selections are worth a try, too
