I had great scrambled eggs and great bacan this morning my husband had gravy and biscuits and scrambled eggs too and sausage. Everything was the best I have ever had here or any other gas station grill. Now all you need is hashbrowns the stingy kinda they are so good with eggs and bacan.

So I go in today around 2 o’clock and I hear the one lady who cooks say I’m tired of this place. I’m ready to shut this down and get the hell out of here after I take this guy‘s order. That guy happened to be me. I ordered two slaw dogs all the way and I got a fountain drinking some chips. After sitting at the booth for a long time, I looked over in the kitchen had closed down and the kitchen crew was out front smoking and I have no food. I got a refund and on the way out the door. I looked over at the lady who took my order and I said hey did you forget something like two slaw dogs all the way for me and she just kind of threw up her hands like oh well. If you don’t wanna be there how about you Stay home.

The people were pretty nice and the atmosphere was all right. It’s inside of a gas station but the price on the food for way it looks I’m not too for sure of. The food was okay but I don’t know about being voted the best Hamburgers for 12 years or what ever they say it is. I mean when you have these photos of really nice-looking bologna sandwich or double hamburger you think it’d be real good looking but I posted photos so you can judge for yourself. Would I eat here again yeah if I’m right here at it and every places else in town was busy.

Went today and had breakfast: scrambled eggs with cheese, a side of sausage and 2 biscuits and gravy plus a unsweet tea. Overall pretty good. Will definitely be back.

With all of the hype about this being “Dolly’s favorite” I was expecting a lot more I guess.
The food was ok, nothing special. I would have to guess when the original owners ran out back in the day it was very different.

The ladies working were friendly and patient while our kids tried to figure out what they wanted. Good size portions and a very reasonable price. A good little quick service spot and a really good burger (made fresh every morning). We were all well pleased.

We have visited this restaurant many times in the past. Sometimes the food was really good and other times it was so so. Today we only got a slaw dog and a regular hotdog with chili and 2 orders of fries. We waited for over 30 minutes to get our order and they were not that busy. The slaw dog was so loaded with slaw that my husband could barely eat it and it could not be picked up and eaten like a regular hotdog.
After we got our order, my husband found a hair from the cook in the fries and we noticed that some of the deli workers did not wear gloves and bare handed handled the food. Also none of the deli workers wear hear nets. Makes me wonder how they handle and store the food there.
This all seems like health violations. We could not find a health inspection report anywhere in the place.
It will be along time before we go back there.

Frank Allen’s Market has a great little restaurant in it with amazing burgers and hotdogs! The food is of great quality; it is cheap, and the service is wonderful!

I’ve been seeing best burgers, of course you see that a lot being in a tourist town, I finally broke down and got a bacon double cheeseburger and I have to say it is definitely one of the best , it’s been a long time but I would have to say it was actually better than Dunn’s market , it’s been a long time since I’ve stopped in at Dunn’s so I’m comparing from years ago . Excellent job I’m sure Frank Allen would be proud considering all the changes to food , quality, pricing etc..
