If you love chicken fingers like I do, you have to try Frango’s Chicken Fingers in Wilmington. Huge, delicious, battered chicken fried to perfection. Juicy fingers just waiting to be devoured along with the side sauces and tasty fries which completes this meal. Highly recommended, but try for yourself. You’ll be glad that you did.

Honestly, I was excited to try this place and the food was good but the service was not. When we went to pick up our online order, I think the cashier could have been a bit nicer, and they forgot one of our sauces which we should’ve checked for before but did not unfortunately. My biggest issue is shown in the pictures… it looks like someone literally dumped sauce in our bag. We opened the stapled bag to see that and after looking at the cup, it seems as if nothing was even put in there. I know mistakes happen but this seemed quite careless. Overall, the food was pretty good but the sauce mishap made for a disappointing visit.

Frango’s never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, with generous portions and a great variety on the menu. Everything we’ve tried has been excellent. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and service is always quick and reliable. It’s our go-to spot in Wilmington for a great meal—highly recommend!

It’s like the best parts of Zaxbys & Raising Canes except I’m supporting a locally owned business!

Their food is delicious, chicken was tender, great crisp/crunch without being to heavily breaded & it was well seasoned!

Sauces were delicious! I got their Frango Sauce & the Sweet Heat (which I really enjoyed) Cole slaw is excellent as well, not to heavy with great flavor n texture.

Tea was good & the lemonade was excellent. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and dare I say happy! Price was good too. Will be stopping by in the future & recommending to friends

Chicken is great. The sandwiches are great. The sauces are great. Amazing lemonade and iced tea! Very good overall. Only thing I didn’t care for was the kitchen had the music very loud. Other than that great place.

The chicken is excellent we had 2- 3 piece Spicy it wasn’t that spicy just extra flavor not greasy at all really perfect fried chicken fingers, they gave us 4 pieces too. The fries were like Mc Donald’s and also as good, now that’s a hard act to follow the clown spent billions on those spuds. We also ordered a Choco,Cip Cookie it was very rich Sharing size also good though I wish it was warm Cold cookies always wreck my buzz and seriously how much effort does it take to warm it up just before you hand it off in a little bag not much folks it’s the last 10% that you’re being judged on small details on a $2.50 cookie you’ll sell more $35 dollar chicken dinners with a memorable decident gooey cookie at the end than a I really shouldn’t have bought this cookie but it looked good cookie. The missing items on the menu for me no Salad they have slaw but it comes with Texas toast and not slaw? Fatel error in my opinion. No BBQ sweet KC, Carolina, Texas. Nashville are a must with chicken this good and if you don’t have Blue Cheese dressing some celery and carrots we’ll are you eating Fried chicken? They serve Pepsi products but the home made lemonade is drinkable though s but sweet and devoid of real lemon slices so I’m not sure what it’s made with. The music was a bit loud but it was contemporary so not miserable. No Not Perfect Fellahs. However where I would remove two or the stars I add them back because yes the chicken is that good. If you’re in Wilmington Give it a try…

Dare I say the best HALAL chicken fingers/tenders ever! Called before coming and also the owner Abdu (most hospitable person) confirmed in-person that their food is 100% HALAL.

Food- Was expecting the usual chicken fingers you get from a pizza joint, but this is nothing close. This is beyond exceptional! The chicken fingers were juicy, just nicely battered and crunchy on the outside but soft in the inside. Words are hard to describe how good they were. It came with different types of sauces, my favorite is the spicy Texas BBQ one which goes really well with the chicken. If you can take the spice, try out the spicy fingers with a mixed blend of spices encapsulating the chicken, what I thought was going to be an afternoon snack turned out to be a feast. It was like Pringles, once you pop you can’t stop. The Texas toast, please don’t get one, get many, they were buttery pillowy goodness every bite you take!

Drinks – try their half lemonade half tea, one word to describe “refreshing”.

Dessert – don’t miss out on the cookies, definitely home baked, they were a hit with my kids.

Service – hospitality like you will never forget and good representation of his religion. As we were eating, the owner Abdu kept greeting people and you could see these customers are regulars, as he addresses them by their names.

Frango and Abdu are gems and this will not be our last time inshaAllah.

Not impressed at all. Had high hopes given all the hype and good reviews. Ordered at 5pm on a Friday and it was ready in 10 minutes. I ordered a 4pc combo. They barely put any fries in (which weren’t the type of fries advertised), the tenders are soggy and the cole slaw is mid. One of the tenders was an inch long. Ordered a sweet tea, but really it was an iced tea sweetened. Iykyk. I’d like to try again and give them another chance, perhaps it was just a bad day, but I’m not sure I have the motivation to.

I have had Frangos twice. First time was thru Doordash and the 2nd time was takeout. 1st time was excellent. Food was great. Only thing not great were the drinks. They were kind of flat. (Coke 0 and Sprite) The food was on point though. This 2nd visit was definitely inconsistent. Ordered Chicken Finger 4 & 6 combos. But the order home and it was 2 of the 4 Combo, not the 6 like I ordered. No big deal, mistakes happen. Unfortunately, portions of the chicken were rubbery textured. The fries were soggy and seemed old, like they were sitting out too long. Drinks were the same as first time. It could’ve just been an off or busy Saturday night to be honest. Based on the first experience, it’s worth giving it 1 more try, as the first time was great. Just disappointed on the second visit.
