Nice decor and an excellent waiter that also took care of takeouts after we ate our lunch. Although the restaurant had a lot of takeout orders, the waiter still gave us his personal undivided attention.
I ordered the Carne Assada platter with beans and rice. My wife ordered the Enchilada platter with beans and rice. The enchiladas had a thick red sauce which was better recieved by us than the watery sauces served by other restaurants.
Every bite was packed full of great flavors reminiscent of our trips to Mexico. Kudos to fine food and a wonderful waiter.
Jennifer’s customer service was absolutely A1. She was attentive, hands-on, and just amazing from start to finish. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out.
The food was phenomenal — flavorful, fresh, and beautifully served. Our clients usually don’t finish all their meals, but this time their plates were completely cleared! That says a lot about the quality and taste.
The atmosphere was warm, pleasant, and welcoming, making the entire experience even better.
This has definitely become one of our top go-to eateries.
Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent value. We’ll definitely be back!
Update: approx,June 21st 2025 we left Rt 38 Steakhouse and wandered back to one of our favorite restaurants, ate and was feeling pretty well fed until the owner accused us of not completly paying our bill the last time we were there. We proceeded to assure him that we have never stiffed a restaurant in our lives and he continued to accuse us and our nephew (who had eaten with us every time we were there) proceeded to hand the owner what he was accusing us of the shortage. (Knowing that we paid). We don’t know how he came to his conclusion (the owner/manager) but we certainly will not return. Another restaurant bites the dust. From now on, it’ll either be no dining out or only higher end places like The Capital Grill Restaurant. I would rather save up to be treated like a king and a queen with the best service, the best food, and the best experience and not have to worry if the owner/mgr is going to randomly accuse us of not paying the bill.
The restaurant’s decor is neat, bright, and cheery. Seating includes roomy booths and standard tables. Each time I’ve visited, whether dining in or taking out, the restaurant staff is friendly and attentive. At times, I have had to wait longer than I wanted to for my food, but this doesn’t happen often.
The menu has lots of options. The food is fresh and delicious and the portion sizes are large. In addition, it’s nearly and carefully presented on the plate. Prices are what I expected; we recently paid around $50 for a party of three including beverages.
I’m a Franco’s fan and will continue to eat here.
