Comfy and colorful restaurant! I had a cappuccino to start with which was delicious! Then I had a oxtail and curry chicken combo with coconut rice and peas, and plantains, and yummy coleslaw. The con, the menu didn’t have prices. I felt like it was super pricey! Service was good. We were not aware of getting charge gratitude tip for a large group at pay so I tip her when I paid. Didn’t realize till I received my receipt… Just for future reference that should be stated to costumers when they pay.

First time trying Caribbean food, server recommended the braised ox tail and chicken curry empanada. Everything was amazing. Group of 4 next to me all had the jerk chicken and didn’t say a word while eating. You know the food is good when everyone is quiet.

Jerk chicken tacos are great! The sauce is “pretty gas” according to my husband haha. The saffron rice is nice and buttery. The pineapple shake was made fresh when I came to pick up the order. Thank you for a great meal!

Came to Rochester for work and yes with the Mayo Clinic. Came upon this gem as a foodie. Had D BEST CUBAN COFFEE west of the Mississippi River.. I asked Lisette manager and owner for a special order of pastelitos Cuban pastries for the office to have a taste of South Florida. You can be certain that when I return some vaca frita with rice and black beans and camarones enchilado will be taken to the office.. Lisette gracias to you and your dad for bringing the taste of home to Rochester.. People tou can’t miss eating here right in front of St. Mary’s Hospital..

Pretty expensive meal for chicken that is completely raw. Waste of time ordering food and dealing with it being raw after bringing it home. I’ve ordered this place a few times, and this isn’t the first screw up. Gave it another chance, but didn’t expect this poor of food quality AND safety! I’m particularly dissapointed becuase I ordered this to share with a young child and I ate a piece before realizing it was raw. I also see a review 5 days ago from my post stating they had raw chicken too. Hmmmm.

OH MY GOSH! When visiting Rochester do NOT missing out on coming here! First off, the chef, she is something special… She’ll make you a dinner that’ll make you want to give her a hug! She’s the best and she’s so so sweet, she just wants to make you happy through her food! Definitely don’t skip the brown chicken stew special or the oxtail, the jerk chicken is also delish! Can’t say enough good things! The coconut rice and the slaw, craveable! I can’t wait to come back!

The jerk chicken has so good and a great value for $15. I loved the sauce so much I bought a bottle to take home. I returned 4 hours later with friends to have dinner! The oxtail was so tender and the goat was good but not amazing. Highly recommend that you eat here!

The Jamaican beef patty was delicious — filling was flavorful and the crust was flaky.
Ordered the whole fish, steamed, with veggie rice. The fish was flaky and delicious in the coconut broth.
Also tried a side of jerk chicken — stellar! Flavorful and marinated throughout the meat and was very juicy! Loved everything!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. If you have not tried Francisco‘s this is a must try place. I am a regular here and I get oxtails with coconut rice and beans every time they have wonderful staff great prices and delicious amazing food.!

This is an awesome place. It’s nice to have a Caribbean restaurant that also sells Cuban food. The empanadas are fantastic and I love the fact that the Empanada the day had plantains along with the meat and cheese. The Cuban steak sandwich was phenomenal and the portions of sandwich and fries or generous. Friendly owners and a nice looking restaurant. Strongly recommend.
