Just had the most amazing Caribbean food at Franceella’s Caribbean Cuisine! This hidden gem is tucked away inside the Exxon gas station, and I’m here to tell you, it’s a GAME CHANGER! You won’t find a more unlikely spot for a culinary treasure, but trust me, it’s worth seeking out. The $8.99 daily special is a steal – a hearty plate of meat, veggies, and rice that’s cooked to perfection. We went with the curry chicken and jerk chicken, both were TO DIE FOR! Don’t skip the roti and daal on the side, and if you like a little heat, grab a bottle of their signature hot sauce!

What really struck us was Franceella’s warmth and community spirit. She’s soon going to be collecting food and clothing for those impacted by the hurricane in Jamaica, so if you have any items, I’m sure she would be happy to take your donations. Her generosity and kindness shine through in every aspect of her restaurant.

Portions are generous (our to-go bag was heavy!), and the flavors will transport you straight to Jamaica. We devoured every bite, and we’re already planning our next visit. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and get to Franceella’s – you won’t be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5-Star Review: A Hidden Gem for Authentic Jamaican Food!

Stopped by this amazing spot after a doctor’s appointment, and let me tell you—John and his team are serving up real, soul-satisfying Jamaican food. Even though I haven’t been able to eat much since my accident, I had to give this place a try. The smell alone? Incredible. And my father? He got the last of the oxtails at 6:00 PM on a Monday—so you know they’re selling out for a reason!

For just $8.99, you get a hearty meal—jerk chicken, perfectly seasoned rice and beans, and some of the best cabbage around. Flavorful, authentic, and worth every penny. Ignore the two-star review from that so-called “expert.” This spot is the real deal.

John, thank you and God bless. Wishing you a smooth recovery and strength for your upcoming surgery. You’ve got our prayers, and we can’t wait to see you back in action. To anyone reading this: support this business! Go get yourself a plate, and taste some of the best Jamaican food in town.

If you’re looking for Jamaican food on the east side of Orlando, this is a great option. I had the oxtail special, very well priced, very wellportioned, fall off the bone, and well seasoned. The woman who was working there, I’m not sure if she was France-Ella or not, but she was very friendly, and I enjoyed the brief conversation as she prepared my food. I will 100% return. I also had their pineapple fruit punch, it was delicious!

We got delivery, so we can’t speak for service or atmosphere. The food was just ok. The jerk chicken didn’t have enough jerk seasoning and had an odd sweet BBQ sauce on top. Also, chicken was a bit dry. The rice with beans, as well as, the vegetables were very bland. The Mac and cheese was good. We never got the patty we ordered, which was disappointing. We probably won’t come back.

I just discovered France – Ella’s Caribbean Cuisine and I am beyond thrilled to have a taste of the Caribbean right in my neighborhood! The Curry Chicken daily special was a flavor explosion that left me craving more. The portions were generous, and the rice & beans were perfectly cooked, soaking up all the delicious curry flavors. The bonus Mac & Cheese was a delightful surprise and I could eat it all day long. The gentleman who served me was friendly and made sure my meal was packed with care. The authenticity of the food truly transported me to the Caribbean with each bite. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this small restaurant with separate utensils being used for each item and each utensil cleaned before being stored into an individual container as the gentleman filled my to-go container. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for a true taste of Caribbean cuisine, look no further than France – Ella’s. A hidden gem that deserves all the praise!

I enjoyed the two platters I ended up getting, the oxtail and stewed jerk pork. Everything was delicious in the end and the portions were healthy. They were sold out of the beef patties so I look forward to trying more dishes so I can try it from here.

Don’t let the small location fool you, the quality of the food and service at FECC is amazing. I ordered the ox tail daily special and a spicy beef patty, both of which were well seasoned and fresh. Please do yourself a favor and support this wonderful small business!

Staff is very kind however I took my mom here today after visiting this place previously since it’s in the gas station. I was impressed with how clean the gas station and the area was and since it’s on the east side of town I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, we ordered curry goat and got Curry mutton. The meat was red and stringy just like lamb I’ve had real goat and mutton before and this was definitely mutton. I would recommend to the owners to check their sources and ensure the meat is actually good because this is false advertising to serve mutton as goat. But the flavor wasn’t too bad

What an amazing meal we experienced yesterday evening. My husband and I had the jerk chicken and brown stew chicken. Let me say we were not disappointed at all. We are visiting from Atlanta and he keeps asking when we are going back…. Thanks for the Carribean vibe in Central Florida.
