Ordered a ‘Cleveland’ Cassata cake for Easter. Picking up the cake was a nightmare. Store was crowded and the line for service was disorganized and confusing. Service workers were somewhat helpful except one who was extremely loud, rude, and snippy. The bakery case is long, and it take a minute to look at the offerings. There is no space to look because the checkout line is just as long and blocks the view. The workers shout at you ‘who needs something’ yet how could one know what they want if they cant even get close to the bakery cases?? The overall feeling I had was being rushed. The cake I ordered was a complete letdown. Hardly any filling…it was thin and it tasted like Jello pudding. Literally maybe 5 strawberries in the entire cake. I was so disappointed. This cake is definitely not worth the price they charge. Will not visit the North Olmsted location again.
Now, it’s on a list of “don’t forgets”.
My sister and I each got a doughnut (1 maple long and 1 chocolate cake) and a piece of carrot cake. Total $5.35.. and the prices are still good
I asked for a knife to try and smooth things out and was offered a fork? I expressed my disappointment and they literally wiped it off, rewrote the words, and left the cake looking like this.
The girls working at NO not nearly as nice as the bay village store, and honestly this is just a sad cake for $30.
I asked them to fix it, it got worse, and this was the best they could do.
2 stars because it was edible.
At this point, it’s not worth the long drive or the money. I also want to say — please be more careful about how you treat your customers. You might have a good business now, but that can change quickly if you take your customers for granted.
