Foxtail Coffee Co. is dedicated to responsibly sourcing some of the finest coffees from around the world. Specializing in Central American, South American, and East African coffees. Once the sacks of coffee leave the farm, they have already been husked, processed, and dried. Foxtail then receives the raw coffee in pallets and starts to develop roast profiles for each lot, highlighting that bean and origins most positive characteristics. I’ve visited this location several times and usually have a great experience. However, there’s one barista who consistently seems to mess up my order. For example, I once placed a mobile order and after waiting 10 minutes, I had to ask about it, only to find out she completely forgot. I was in a rush to work and ended up waiting even longer because she hadn’t noticed the order come through.
Today, I stopped by to try the seasonal Maple Pancake Latte, which is advertised as coming with whipped cream and cinnamon. I received neither. When I asked if she could add the whipped cream, she acted as though it were a hassle. Honestly, I shouldn’t have to remind a barista how to make the drink correctly, especially when it’s the only seasonal item on the menu.

Such a cute coffee and ice cream spot! Got an iced matcha latte with almond milk and a scoop of the dairy free cookies & cream ice cream. The matcha runs a little sweeter, and the lovely barista made sure to let me know before I decided to add any flavoring to it. Loved the atmosphere and such a great place to hang with friends and play some of the games they have around the coffee shop.

Whenever I’m craving a chai latte I order from this cafe and I never have an issue with my order until today. I ordered a latte and it did not taste the same, it tasted like straight milk. And on the side of the cup you can tell that the chai powder was not mixed in all the way before being served. I tried to mix it myself but majority of the chai is still stuck on the side of the cup.

Don’t you just love the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning? I’m not a frequent coffee drinker, but when I do get the taste for a hot cup of Joe, I’m very picky on where I get it from.
Located in the Pompano Citi Centre, Foxtail Coffee offers various brewed coffee or tea made hot or cold. There’s also bakery items, cold beverages, quick bite sandwiches, and ice cream. Prices are reasonable. There’s adequate seating indoors to chill in its serene ambiance. The female employee behind the counter was pleasant…it being my first time in this establishment, I took my time to look at the menu and make my decision. I haven’t had cafe con leche in a long time so I decided to get that. Next I ordered a egg, ham, and cheese croissant and a slice of banana bread as well.
Having some time to kill, I took a seat at an available table while my order was being prepared. Here are my thoughts:
* The cafe con leche was delicious. Not too strong and lightly sweet. Regular size is just the right amount as I do not drink a lot of coffee.
* The egg, ham, and cheese croissant was yummy. The croissant was lightly toasted enough to melt the Gouda cheese a bit for a ooey gooey taste.
* I declined the option to have the banana bread slice heated…in my opinion, it was good as is. A nice moist thick slice topped with walnut pieces.
This was definitely a nice and fulfilling way to start a beautiful morning.

Lovely coffee shop for meeting up with friends, colleagues, business talks or just grabbing a nice coffee.
Barista was super friendly and helpful. She was able to make something similar to a Caramel Macchiato from the other chain store starting with “S” but much better tasting. Just realized there’s a Boca location so will definitely give it a try.

We happened to go in when only Zahra was working by herself. She took our 8 drinks orders and calmly made each and every item meticulously and they all were delicious. Yummy lattes, teas and muffins and great customer service.

Manager: The coffee was good, but two un-gloved hands pushing down on the drinking surface of my to-go lid was not cool. Even before the pandemic, that would have been considered gross. I promptly removed and discarded that lid. They were understaffed with only one (visible) person taking orders and preparing orders; I felt bad for her. Took about 10 minutes to get my coffee. There was a pile of dirty dishes on the service counter, so that was disturbing (I didn’t see any designated tub for customers to place dirty dishes, so I had to add my dish to the pile on the service counter). I don’t recommend the hash-brown sausage egg & cheese sandwich; the flavor was ok, but it was like having a piece of sausage between two soggy mashed potato discs. They should consider discarding chipped dishes (see photo). I did try to describe my experience verbally rather than here, but they didn’t respond to my Messenger inquiry and didn’t respond to my voicemail and later stated they thought my voicemail was from a telemarketer… so he apparently didn’t listen to my message. The atmosphere was very cool and I very much enjoyed that!

Haven’t tried the coffee yet. Appalled by one person working the register and making the coffee. Pretty busy place. Also, not ok to take money from customers then proceed to make drinks without washing hands or wearing gloves. First and last time at this location. Owners do better. If Noone wants to work maybe you should step in and help.
