We are a small bakery in SKC producing delicious pastries and quality breads for the community to enjoy. We only use organic flours in our breads and pastries. We have breakfast and lunch items. We also make sourdough brioche doughnuts on Fridays and Sundays.

The savory pastries and croissants were the highlight of the visit—served cold but still offering a pleasant butter-and-flour flavor not overwhelmed by other ingredients. The brioche in the brioche sandwich, however, was dense, heavy, dry, and flavorless, similar to a mass-produced bun; the light aioli and mild heat from the spicy mayo were the only notable flavors, while the egg, cheese, and microgreens contributed very little. The cream cheese frosting on the blueberry danish had a harsh sugary aftertaste that overshadowed the blueberries and the partry itself.
The self-serve dining area has a nice vibe when it isn’t crowded, and the restrooms had mildly scented soap that didn’t interfere with eating by hand. Just be aware that the hot-water faucet can release burning-hot water very quickly.
Although the setup is mostly self-serve (sandwiches are brought to the table without napkins, water, or cutlery), a tipping screen still appears at the counter when paying upfront—something to keep in mind if that bothers you.

In my search for the perfect cinnamon roll, I think I found it. This one has light cream cheese frosting. It is not over the top! A crème brûlée topping that’s actually on the bottom literally that crystallized sugar perfect amount of cinnamon and their roll itself is divine handmade with a yeast dough . I will keep searching this one is the best so far.!

A Kansas City Gem!
Fox & Bull Baking Co. is an absolute must-visit! The baked goods are incredible—everything is fresh, buttery, and made with care. From the flaky croissants to the pop tarts, cinnamon rolls, and artisan sourdough, every bite was amazing. You can really tell this place values quality ingredients and expert baking.
The coffee was equally fantastic—smooth, rich, and the perfect complement to all the delicious pastries. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
This is one of those places where you walk in and instantly know it’s going to be a favorite. If you’re in KC, make sure to stop in. You’ll be glad you did!

The loveliest bakery spot tucked away where you wouldn’t expect. I love coming here! Its a cute spot, good place to do some writing or bring a friend to chat. I only wish there were more “nooks” but thats kinda impossible with the buildings layout. Highly recommend 🙂

I absolutely love this bakery! The food, drinks, and takeout bread are all phenomenal. Whether you’re dining solo or with family/friends, the setup is perfect. The music is relaxing and adds to the great atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a little break from life—whether you’re by yourself or with others. Definitely check it out!

We just moved out here to Kansas City, and we thought we would stop into the Overland Park farmers market on this past Saturday. We bought two different types of sourdough, one was dated 6.14.25, and the other one was dated 10.3.24. I honestly never even noticed it until I took out the bread to slice it up and put it in the toaster. You can clearly see that it already had mold on it. And then it made me think was this actually made in October of last year and put in the freezer and then brought out to sell? I called and left the company a message but I have heard nothing back. This is so disappointing. I really loved the farmers market and I loved the fact that I believed we were getting fresh baked bread buyer beware.

What a cool spot! The food was incredible…we tried the brioche donuts (only available Thursdays and Sundays, so get there early because they were sold out of some flavors by 10:30 AM), raspberry pop tarts, sweet potato hash, and breakfast panini. All were delicious, but the pastries were our favorite. We also tried the banana foam iced coffee and oat milk cold brew. Both were fantastic. I’m always cautious at coffee spots where the drinks never have the advertised flavors or are over sweetened with syrups. The banana foam is made with real bananas and the cold brew isn’t acidic, but very mellow with great flavors and sweetened perfectly! Highly recommend!

If I were to use three words to describe this place they would be: Welcoming, Delicious, and Artisan. But I’m not going to. This place has exactly what you want when it comes to real, delicious food. They try (and continue to improve) and make every ingredient, sandwich, pastry, and bread as real and scrumptious as it gets. Their bread is just . It is handmade and created by caring hands who don’t just target your wallet. Same goes with the pastries. Their coffee is brewed in house and beans are roasted in the KC metro area.
