Service was fantastic. Highly recommend. Food is really good and the beer is very good as well. If you can’t do at least a full flight of stairs, you will either have to do a carry out or wait for warmer weather. The atmosphere was very casual. I had the brisket cheese steak which was so flavorful, loved it. The brown sugar BBQ sauce is very good also.

I live out of state now and every time I come to Pennsylvania I have to get butter garlic wings because you can’t get them where I live now. I got 6 butter garlic and 6 dry rub and a house salad. My mom got taco poutine, which was a special and a house salad. My nephew got mild wings and a house salad. The wings were a nice size, but I asked for them extra extra crispy and I’d say they were regularly cooked. I was very disappointed with the wings. The butter garlic had some sort of seasoning on them and the dry rub wings were just blah. They also had a smoked flavor which I am not a fan of with my wings. The salads were huge. I’m talking we could’ve all 3 split one and still had some left. The waitress did not specify how big they were when we ordered. Also, as I learned after receiving the bill that if you ask for extra dressing (they only give you one) they charge $.99. they also charge if you get ranch or blue cheese with the wings which it didn’t specify that on the menu and the waitress didn’t tell us. For such a big salad it could’ve had more toppings. The atmosphere was cool, but the steps to get to the seating area are very steep and it’s counter service only if you sit downstairs. I wouldn’t rush to go back to this place.

The food here is solid. All of the food is made to order, so plan your visit accordingly. The service is basically self-serve after the food is brought from the kitchen. The atmosphere is comfortable, though I don’t know how well the establishment can support large groups. While I didn’t go in to check for rails, the bathroom is on the first floor and appears to be handicapped accessible. There is an outdoor seating area, and indoor seating area, and another seating area upstairs that we didn’t check out. There is both on-street parking and a lot with meters.
Now, for the food! We went on a Thursday for 50¢ wings — they are the pieces, not full wings. We tried the Memphis Dry Rub, Pumpkin, Rootbeer, and Butter & Garlic. The Memphis Dry Rub and Pumpkin were both on point, 5★. While the Rootbeer was also 5★, it wasn’t a stand-out flavor. The Butter and Garlic was on the bland side. The garlic flavor was mild, like they didn’t sautée any of the minced garlic in the butter to infuse the garlic flavor. I’d rate it as 3.5★.
If you like light, fluffy cornbread, their cornbread is for you. We weren’t overly fond of the cornbread since my husband and I both prefer heavy, dense cornbread.
I really love poutine and was excited to see it on the menu. I was a bit disappointed with it when it arrived. The fries really weren’t warm, the gravy was starting to congeal, and the curds weren’t melted. I prefer a poultry-beef mixed gravy or straight-up beef gravy on my poutine, whereas they serve their poutine with poultry gravy. The poutine tasted good with the wings but I won’t be ordering them again.
If you look at the photos, you can see they have a respectable craft beer list for Mon Valley. I wanted to drink cheap, and a $1.50 16oz Yuengling fit the bill quite well. My husband got Tröegs Nimble Giant. I can’t tell you how much that was because the cashier, while nice, was really confused about what’s a craft beer, what isn’t, and how much the craft beers cost.

I follow this place on facebook, and living in Philly, it drives me crazy that I can’t come over and try the specials that they always post; everything looks so delicious!
As such, I ALWAYS try to make time to stop in when I’m back in town, and this place never disappoints me.
I visited with a friend who is just as gluttonous as I am, so this time I had the pleasure of devouring the meat sampler, sides, AND the bacon-wrapped chicken cordon bleu.
Everything on the meat sampler was impeccably prepared, and the 8 dipping sauces were a nice touch. Two standouts for me were the tender pork belly and the smoked beef brisket. The mac ‘n cheese here is also always on point. If you look at my other reviews, you will see that I am a connisseur of all things cheese, so you know you can trust me on that. The bacon-wrapped chicken cordon bleu was a special, and if it’s on the menu, GET IT… especially if you are a bacon lover!
The friendliness of the staff was also a nice touch – my friend is from Cleveland, so it was important to show her how Pittsburghers welcome our guests. (Even guests from Cleveland). Chef Tim and the other servers were attentive, and truly cared about our meal experience as well as the quality of all of the food.
I will definitely be back, and I encourage you to give this place a shot if you are still on the fence. It’s worth the trip!

Fourth Street BBQ, currently being rebranded to Four Points BBQ & Brewing has a quaint, rustic atmosphere. Their selection of beef short ribs, babyback ribs, brisket, and other BBQ is succulent! And their selection of home brewed beers is exceptional. You won’t be disappointed.

BBQ was excellent. Good pulled pork and excellent brisket. Would have gave it a five, but the cornbread that has somewhat decent reviews is yellow cake mix. Other then that nice place good environment fair prices.

Great food! Great brewery – 4 Point. I eat here frequently but typically during the day while I’m at work. I often times takeout on a Friday. We really enjoy the food. I only gave it three stars because the service needs improvement. Waited over an hour for our food on a Friday night and it came wrong, and incomplete. We were compensated but it didn’t erase the experience. We will go back because the food and beer is that good. Maybe they’ll address the service situation before it’s too late.

We went with a party of 6 and had reservations. Seated right away. Our server was great and didn’t keep us waiting for anything. I got the two meat combo ($10) ribs and brisket. There were not a lot of ribs, but there was a ton of brisket. Also, with the meal I got two sauces on the side. The wife and I split a large fry, which was really good. All the food was great! They also had about 10 craft beers up on the wall to choose from.

October 2020, Food was ordered for an outdoor wedding for 80 people, Chicken, BBQ chicken, mac & cheese and cornbread. It was all excellent ! Rob was very nice and professional when ordering and answered all of my questions with clarity. We sampled the food prior to ordering and both times it was exceptional. The chicken was melt in your mouth, cooked to perfection. The BBQ was great, corn bread delicious and the mac & cheese could not have been better. Food was delivered on time and there was plenty left over for bride and others to take home. We only wish we would have tried more items but we will be back. Thank you !!
