Never in my life did I think that I would be able to get the food of my homeland in Alaska! Four Plates is a small restaurant but it’s big in taste!
I got the pollo a la brasa with fries and a side salad. The sauces they’ve created are awesome.
Thoroughly enjoyed my rotisserie chicken with homemade fries.
I can’t believe this place is here and I wish them all of the success!!!
The location is tucked away in the parking lot behind the large building.

Super yummy Peruvian home-cooked eats. Savory menu. Large portions. Friendly staff/chef. Great experience with Tacu Tacu and Estafado de Pollo. Can’t wait to try more. It is a bit off the road in red food shack in the parking lot between Pavitts and the Alaska Job Center Network.

Four plates has 4 main dishes on the menu, we ordered the first, a savory and simple chicken potato stew, served with rice. Everything was a huge portion, the staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. The dish was well seasoned, but didn’t have the intense flavors/spice of Mexican food, the potatoes and chicken were tender. We also had a Caesar salad (huge amount of salad) and a churro for dessert, all of which I would recommend. I had no expectations and left very full and happy!

I was super excited to eat here because it looked like a little hidden gem! I checked out the menu and got more excited cause the food looked great. I ordered strawberry juice and the tacu tacu which would cost $42. I work at a restaurant and know that it’s pretty annoying when people gawk at prices, but $42 for one meal at a food truck style restaurant just seems crazy.

We had a two hour layover in Juneau so we thought to walk somewhere for lunch. Took about ten minutes to walk there but was worth it. The bacon empanada was phenomenal. I assume it’s a new item because it wasn’t on the menu but it probably will be soon. I also had the chicken stew thing and that was so flavorful and delicious. Definitely going there again next time I fly through.
