Went late night and only ordered 2 burgers they were both totally messed up! Ordered a cheddar style burger with no bacon and got a burger with mayo and onions ONLY! Ordered a chili cheese burger and got a burger with lettuce ONLY! Ridiculous. A total waste of time and money. Tried to call and couldn’t get through. Big surprise. They are terrible. Go to Wendy’s or Taco Bell!

One thing I love about this place. They are just like the nostalgia of home cooked charcoal grilled burgers and foods, except conveniently at our disposal. The staff was helpfully funny because they agreed it’s difficult to choose from many great offerings. It was quite the experience…Then THE FOOD. as norm as it was it was a surprisingly enjoyable. I always get the fries from here but they’re so mid but like they’re fries and i want fries with my fast food. I asked for cajun fries but they gave me normal ones. No biggie. It’s cookout. It fills you up for cheap and you get unlimited refills. The cajun chicken is so underrated

Usually I love coming here but I swear tonight was horrendous. Took forever to get someone to answer us back to place our order and on top of that we could hear the person stopping and chatting with their coworker instead of taking our order which made us sit there much longer. Its sad that instead of paying attention to the customer they wanted to pay attention to their coworker and the crap they were laughing about instead. Next time ill go to the cookout in Nashville, NC. I get better service there anyways.

i asked for big double tray cheese bacon and ketchup. i got a chicken tender tray. go back and told them what happened and they cleared up the mistake politely but then i get my food and it has chilli on it and so much ketchup the bread is soggy. it looks like they tried to take most the chilli off of it then gave up half way. the bacon looks uncooked. i used to work there so i know what it looks like before they fry it. the same thing happened to me at the nashville store last week. they gave me a bbq sandwich with so much slaw after i said no slaw. brought it back and its like they forgot and started trying to take it off and gave up half way. and theres no point in calling the customer service line because they never answer. the management used to be so good when daryl was there. its been a hit or miss ever since hes been gone.

The guy running one side of the drive thru was majorly stoned. Couldn’t even hear him talk and made everything very confusing. The food was pretty basic, it works for its purpose though being it’s marketed towards cheap and drunks.

Waited o er an hour to get milkshakes, only to find black hair inside the lid! Spent almost $14 for 4 shakes….definitely a waste of money! No one answered the customer service line & the local # had someone puck up only to hang up each time!

Rocky Mount Cook Out have fell off tremendously. I had to wait over 40 minutes in line for a double cheeseburger combo. My food was prepared correctly but the fact that I had to wait that long in line is ridiculous. I definitely will not be coming back anytime soon.
